I would mind if I were you. Besides, you haven't gotten to know him very well yet. THere might be things he does that are too mature for you. YOu are 20. The 20 year olds I know are partying and shopping like crazy!!
Perhaps their already in a common field mentally? I mean just because shes a student & hes working fulltime doesnt mean their not.... If they like each other a lot right now its gonna be hard for both of them to wait until shes graduated.... i know 30 year old guys who are still into partying and gaming....=/ I party & shop but it doesnt mean im immature ?!
agreed, i think that u've shown urself to be quite mature anyways with ur thread about how u don't like guys to drink too much. this suggests to me that u drink carefully. i could be wrong though.

i think the point is it depends on whether they have matured as a person and whether their body has fully grown to the extent of yours otherwise it would just be sick. i don't think u can ever get too old for some die hard shopping. #also as a side note how do u keep replying to threads when it says that ur offline on ur status.#
Ask yourself the question: 1. Most of the problems arise because of the two people are at different stages in their life (for example: one is still in school, the other one is divorced and have 3 kids... now this would not make the relationship impossible, but it would be darn difficult!). This different in stage appears even when the age is similar. So if you think you two are in the same stage in life (you both ready to have a serious relationship or you both only take this relationship casually .. for instance) then go for it! 2. Do you guys look good together (think of a young girl and and old grandpa in the wedding picture.. doesn't seem right) I think age difference only boils down to this. (from someone who dated guys from 7 years younger to 13 years older. Hope this helps )

and we will all wait patiently for your outcome!!! Hope it works out well for you and him. I personally don't think 9 years is a gap. Older than you by 5 to 10 years is acceptable for my opinion. If he's a good catch then give it your best shot or you will regret later on!
