What else needed for DL access?

Hmm.. I was wondering if there's anything else I need to do to get access to the download section. So far I've PM'ed "b-lee" the information required to get access. I just wanted to make sure I do everything right to get access.

Also typically how long is the wait? I'm really excited and want to get access soon I guess that would also be everybody else. LOL

The Site and Contest forum would have been probably better (think this thread will be moved elsewhere) or in your own Introduction thread.

You just need to wait for the screening and sometimes it will happen fast and some members have to wait a bit longer depending on how busy mod b-lee is.

Sometimes some uploaders will set a requirement for an x amount of posts before you can download something from that user. Means you have to join some of the discussions in The Lounge and by no means you're allowed to kick up a string of old threads (say like older than 2 weeks?) unless you want to make a really contributing comment. ("I agree with that" or "hahahahaha" etc. isn't allowed)

Also, no useless one-liners in order to increase your post count as that also will get you on the spammers list.

Tip: read the sticky first if you haven't done that yet.

Try to mingle with the rest of us, have fun and you'll get your downloads at the same time

 

I'm too impatient for the screening process. Who cares about downloads.....
