i am dying from the load of work and studying i have to do in my university? but it seems like my hallmates are having the time of their life. colege is such a pain! >=[ anyone?
confused are u in college or university? what program are u in? r u doing midterms now.. cuz i am and yeah it is a pain in the neck doing all the work! but u will get over it^-^
im dying too.. but iv kinda brought it upon myself... 5 classes, 3 labs and 4 days of work a week are murder. Iv only been out of my house once this semester.
its not stressing if u konw how to plan rite and be on top of every task without procrastinating..........but then..guys r lazy...so i don't blame u man.........i been cramming and the nites i stayed up makes me sleep in class which makes me miss lectures
MIDTERMS THESE TWO WEEKS!!!....who doesn't stress in college though lol...its bound to happen sometime.
Crazy!... I have the same thing too -- 5 classes + 3 Labs.... ... but no work :S... and i'm dying too -_- organic chem midterm in 15 hours and human phys the next day -_- I think it all depends on your programs.... ie. ARTS vs. SCIENCE
It's just a stereotype to think SCIENCE is more difficult or require more hard work than ARTS. Personally I wouldn't quite decide on whether handing in 5-pages essays on a weekly basis or having a tough 2 week crowded with midterm is worst... Take your pick.
^ essays come more naturally and u can bull shit them to an extent. i wrote two pages of a 5 page paper without opening the book i was writing about. I just knew the general gist and just cranked out what ever it was about. But sciences... there is no guess work, because everything has a way... And... arts don't have 3 hr labs twice a week. And... in arts the hrs u work = how much u get done. But u can spend hrs on an engineering project and get no where. yea... all depends on what your doing... my friends who are political science have it easy... they have a mid term in a few hrs and what are they doing? playing FIFA 08... i have a mid term next monday and i'm trying to figure out how many hrs of review and extra crammiing i'll need
It also depends on the course and what kind of grade you are looking for. In college, it's not difficult to get a passing grade, but to get an A it's quite a feat.
sciences are the worst by far. you can complain about essays, but atleast you dont have 2-3 5 page lab writeups due every week, along with assignments for each class and midterms packed so close together you feel like you are writing one massive exam. im gettin so tired of doing the sciences that im seriously considering switching into humanities or business. its too overwhelming -cry2 edit - on top of all that im trying to get an insurance brokers license to sell automobile coverage lol... im probably really overdoing it at the moment... but meh, i wanna be able to sell insurance and make some commission at the end of the day.
lol uni is that hard, im gna be goin for somethin that i knw dat i can get some easy dosh out of - business studies - n gna specialise in either accountin / marketin / management or retail...life sorted lols plus - the course im gonna go for includes a year of paid work as wel ^ ^
LOL! im a girl. freshman at binghamton university if you know where that is. i got 4 classes chem bio jap amdn math. 2 labs. get quizzes everyday for jap, every week for chem and bio<-----NOT EASY! and we egt these things called CAPA which we must finish everyweek but do know how to. AND my leactures are like 2 hrs long i just fall asleep sometimes.....
maybe u're choosing the rong major/subjects =p........sry...i can't really tell who's a girl or guy on here lol
its the way it is, if you want a decent degree you gotta work for it. If you want to do like 2 days a week, you can do a useless degree like business management -rolleyes...
same thing happened my first year in college honestly 1/3 of the students didn't make it to the second year either they failed, or they dropped out because they realized it wasn't for them also a lot of your fellow mates might not have as hard of a course load i remember i was taking MAX credits (which was 18) while another girl kept telling just to "study harder" and i found out she was only taking 10 credits honestly two years later, i got lazy, and didn't study as much and still did fine i think just as a first year student i was so worried about failing that i over stressed yourself i dont know what to tell you but to go relax cause honestly most people are in the same boat in the beginning, and no matter how much you tell them to chill, tehy are just too scared too here is a tip, go to good study groups you can still study, but at least hanging out with people wont make it feel like such a chore but at the same time, watch out that some study groups are literally just excuses of a hang out group
u cant do jack squat with a science degree if your GPA isn't decent. Why take a hard major only to walk out of it not being able to get paid what that degree should entail. The recommended completive GPA recommended by my school is a 3.5..... considering the classes it's just plain hard. For law though u need like 3.9 and crap to get in a good law school, but the classes they take need less study if your well read from high school, u just have to be perfect and don't mess up lol
ugh dont trip college is killer right now, plus tonight is halloween night and i'll be studying for a test when i could be going out!!! :[
