With the current roster (as of 9/27/07) set with the following:

    Guards:
    (PG) Stephon Marbury
    (SG) Quentin Richardson
    Jamal Crawford
    Nate Robinson
    Mardy Collins
    Dan Dickau

    Forwards:
    (SF) Jared Jeffries
    (PF) Zach Randolph
    David Lee
    Renaldo Balkman
    Malik Rose
    Fred Jones
    Wilson Chandler
    Demetris Nichols

    Centers:
    (C) Eddy Curry
    Randolph Morris

What are we (Knicks-Fans) gonna do about it!?

nothing, this team has potential if quentin and jamal stays healthy, jared jeffries kinda sux tho, fred jones as a former pacers pg should take over the SF position cause he's a good shot or put jamal at SF and fred jones at sg (unless there's two fred jones?) zach david lee and eddy curry is a pretty good trio in the inside where u can rotate one and have a good rest for each players while still getting good productions from the inside

this team is whack. Reminds me of mets with their colors.... no offense to them.... and no hate..... because in reality, the celtics is gonna own the east with their 3 superstars. they basically have the dream team players on their team. But still, no chance the spurs. Lets go SPURS!!!!

with Zach, they will be better than last yr, but they can only make it to the playoff at their best...

u kno, if they get to the playoff, ill be surprise man. Wit zach randolph, they're a better team. However, with some obstacles like the boston celtics, no way they're gonna win the playoffs.

doesn't matter how good they look on paper. i personally think it's an embarrassment for a team with the highest payroll in the league to struggle. they're a waste of money. for that, isiah thomas should be fired. period. i'm a better head coach than isiah thomas. the team doesn't play defense. i have to admit that bringing randolph was a good move but even he can't save the knicks if isiah thomas continues with his asinine ways of coaching.

The roster needs some fine tuning as everyone agrees. However, the Knicks could be much worse. They have good players but if disciplined, they can be quite deadly. I think now that the Knicks aquired the Phoenix Suns' coach, the Knicks can actually be the next Suns as Thomas was trying to do but failed miserably. But I think the Knicks would need additional players that are more consistent with their shot. Let's wait and see what happens during the NBA draft. Go KNICKS!!!

Knicks need to reshuffle their rosters. They did not do well with the current rosters but with new coaching and staffs, maybe things will change.

knicks finally made a move to save their franchise by removing Thomas as coach. Now they can start rebuilding the team into a championship contender, but it's goin take a llllooongg time unless they do major restructuring.

trade away marbury. he's a bum! if the knicks get o.j. mayo in the draft then that would be nice. gilbert arenas might be a free agent. knicks might want to look into that but then again the knicks have too many guards. eddie curry is a bum. he needs to get traded. the only player i really like in d'antoni's run and gun system is jamal crawford.

Good news: Isiah Thomas isn't the coach or the GM
Bad news: The roster is garbage... beyond repair in the short term

Are you serious? Are you talking about a loser like Zach Randolph who only can put up numbers and basically is shit on the defensive side of the ball? The Trail Blazers are laughing their ass off when the Knicks took his fat ass and his contract off the payroll and freeing up roster space (Dickau and F. Jones), not to mention they actually got a talent for him (Frye).
