what the shit are you talking about <_<. i work in retails i know what an employee is and isnt supposed to do. one whole minute can make a difference between keeping a job and losing a job for your information. heard of "client is always right" expression? good customer service DOES require an employee to work overtime when needed and asked, EVEN WHEN ON BREAK AND LUNCH (when NOT getting money). <_< you cant just go "oh im on break/lunch go ask someone else" or "oh stores closed. come back tomorrow morning" that makes you lose customers and statistically, you lose one customer, you lose a few more due to word of mouth. so tell me now. sacrificing one whole minute for a customer is gonna make a difference or no? -noclue sweet =) when i worked at canadian tire, some dude came in right before the lights shut off and the doors locked, spent 15 minutes looking for the stuff he needed, but our employees actually stayed after to help him out lol
