() wtf. something doesn't add up here. i'm giving the boys the better of the doubt. the assault probably was NOT performed as a traditional rape case. since, in fact, she did discuss the "rape" with her friends that very night at a slumber party. therefore, suggesting that she was either confused or distress at the event that she needed moral support and/or consolation. most ppl will support the latter reasoning; however statistically speaking -- when a woman is sexually violated and abuse, they will not speak of the horrific event unless confronted otherwise. but this could be an exception. i could be just giving these kids the benefit of the doubt so i don't want to believe that this world has become so morally-corrupted that even eight and nine children are lusting for sexually gains. however, this could be just a special circumstance.

dudette, wasn't the girl 11 yrs old? not that the age matter since either one would be far too young and supposedly innocent for any of this unfortunate event to ever occur. however, i do stand by my previous statements. i am not condoling the actions of the boys, for if they did commit the rape i will not be hesitant in joining the mass that would suggest heavy punishment and commitment for their actions. however, till that is proven; don't they deserve to be label innocent, instead of condemning they as perverted little lust gremlins? i do think that not all of the answers and inquires are taking in consideration and the case itself probably needed a lot of examination and further investigation. so, i'm leaving the boys with my benefit of the doubt. and dear hope that this world is improving moralistically rather than the decline so vividly show in this example.

If you believe that 8 or 9 yrs olds are not capable to do what they did, i encourage you to meet more of them cuz it is more than possible during this age and time. As to your reference about the "when a woman is sexually violated and abuse, they will not speak of the horrific event unless confronted otherwise", it might be applicable to maturer females, but to a 11 yr old, she could have said it because she might not have been stygmatized with the way an older person might think.
