lol no they dont perform near the intel core2 quads.... this particular model is priced near the q6600 but under-performs against the q6600. The reviews found that AMD seriously need to bump the speeds of the phenoms higher to be able to compete against intel, however higher clocked versions wont be available till next year.... then you still gotta worry about the 45nm quads intel are bringing out now....
Intel still owns AMD lol, i had a Amd computer, was really bad, will not go back to AMD, Intel Quad Core all the way lol. and only clocked at 2.2 for that price, not too good.
