i went to see a movie with my friend (just us two). in the theater, he tried putting his arms around me, but i pushed it away, and asked what he was doing. later into the movie, i got tired so i put my head on his shoulders. he then put his arms around me and he slowly work his way up to caressing my hand. i'm really confused cause i don't know what it means and i don't know what he wants. i forgot to mention that his friend use to like me, but i sorta, not intentionally rejected him. so i don't think he will ever ask me out. do guys put their arms around a "friend" and caress their hand? what do you guys think this mean?
guys that do that means they like the girl .... that's their move ..... it is very obvious that he still have feelings for you ...... but if you dun have the same feeling ..... i suggest that you dun give him any false thinking ...... putting your head on his shoulder means that you have some feelings towards him ..... do think over whether you like him or not .....

As peeps above have said: he likes you. If you want to be 100% sure, ask him straight out of confront him. If he denies, tell him to stop caressing. If he answers in a straight forward manner, you got your answer but if he stutters and all, you can be sure that he likes you also.
i know that i like him, a lot. but i don't think he will ever admit he like me because of his friend.

Lol, the classic triangle? What you can do is that you tell him you met a really nice guy the other day and ask him his opinions on whether he thinks it appropriate for you to ask the guy out. If he freaks and asks you a lot of details or insists not to meet that guy anymore, then you can be sure that he likes you too -smart

hah i find it funny, when girls do it, soemtimes it doesn't mean anything and it gives the guy a false hope.
