like runtohell said, 99.9% due to your connection and how its configured

oh btw sure ur not on 1Mbit of internet cause

    1Mbit internet = 125kBytes/s

so you may actually be getting full speed already...

my advice, get utorrent 1.7.5 ;) much better client in my opinion (generally leave all the settings as they come, except things like upload speed and turn off UPnP port mapping)

i mean it even has an option to automatically set your upload speed, so you dont have to worry about it (although you may still want to manually limit it at some times)

if your using a router, the most important thing is to forward your ports

But since your getting full speed anyways, i guess theres no need to mess with anything.

I'd say 2GB is the minimum today. RAM pricing are falling like crazy. I got Corsair 2GB DDR2-RAM off newegg for $40 :O . Unbelievable prices.

Get more ram, that will help. Playinig PC games now require a lot of spec upgrade. what os are you using? Maybe you can go get some Pqi memory, it is cheap and it's not that bad. I use the same pqi memory for two years and never have any problem. Rams are so cheap now that I got myself 4Gb.
