They CAN, but it wouldn't sound very good because proper singing (with vocal training and all, not just "singing" in terms of crappy pop stars) requires that the singer to be standing upright with straight spine and all... Can't really picture that going with violin playing... Though I am sure you can sing K while playing the violin...
In my opinion, I always thought piano is the most romantic instrument...but then after watching Heart of Greed, saxophone can be quite romantic too. AND after watching the mv Rainbow, guitar is also a very hot instrument! LOL I dunno...I think I have some kinda of choice disorder So I would say it's all 3

i would have to agree with the poll. Piano is incredibly sexy if played well. the saxophone is also pretty cool. Ever see Richie Ren in fly me to polaris??
Piano (King of Instrument): it can play melody and accom in same time (polyphonic), 2 or more melodies in a time (contrapuntal), melody only (monophonic) and all parts play together (homophonic) Violin (Queen of Instrument): An instrument which can do Vibrato (vibrating of notes, either very short or very long) and shows expression the most among instrument. Actually all strings family can do this, but one exceptional things that Violin do is that it plays higher pitch note which is more likely to be heard by human ears compare to Cello or basses. All instruments are nice, it's all depends on what pieces are played ... that's why the composers are more famous than the soloists ...
i would say piano... probably cuz it's classic and it sounds more romantic than all the other stuff..
