Food in hk~

    hey all~
    mmm, so i plan on going bak to HK in like dec... anyone got recommendations on where to go for good food? XD
    kekek, anything from like drink tea to desserts (and yea, lots of desserts would be nice lol)

    err......eating in hk is like everywhere..all them yummy little stands....i cant think of a aparticular place as such as food stands are everywhere

    you should try out the noodles with hotdog

    so good

    everytime i go back i have to take one of those...

    i like there curry fish ball and wan tan noodle,i eat it everytime i go to hk lol

    • kai tan tjai ( literally little eggs)
    • dessert at hui lau shan
    • hot pot
    • won ton noodles soup
    • tou fooooooooo fa with sugarwater
    • congee with beef and black egg
    • ho peng (fried mussels)
    • good old kong C sam man chi ( CO. BLT)
    • dan tak ( eggtarts)
    • sieuw aap faan ( duck with rice)
    • yeung tou fou

    Hong Kong is the best. Food for everyone from anywhere.

    most of those stuff u can get from most country...........in uk...most of those stuff u can get from china street,,,,,

    personally i think hui lao shan's nice, but not fantastic =) cos there're other stalls there that taste just as nice... it's just the branding that makes people go there...i think.

    Please eat a Mango Pancake for me at Honeymoon Desserts!!!!! I know they have one at APM and one at Langham Place at Mongkok. APM is at Kwun Tong MTR stop!

    go to temple street in Yau Ma Tei for a variety of rice pots and snake soup. They also hv an awesome oyster scamble eggs and snails.

    lol.. hk shops and restaurants are all yummy.. !! dont be fooled by the lack of decoration or how the actual shop looks :) but i would recommend going to all-you-can-eat sushi restaurants !! they're so yummy.. not expensive either.. however, the sushi isnt the best.. but its still good :p so yeah, if you plan to eat sushi, go to all you can eat ones.. theres one in the kowloon, dragon centre near "wong kok" or "sham sui po"

    their dimsum offered at most restaurants are superb

    yeh i agree with the dimsum offered at restaurants...mmm...
    TURNIP CAKE.. i like turnip cake xD...(lor bat go?)

    if you ever go to the food court in olympics shopping mall (by where i lived) there's a restaurant there...forgotten WHAt its called..but i know its 3 words haha and its like "shanghai food" close to the cinema in the olympics shopping mall...
    that is like one of the best restaurants ive been too.. the food is just right in every way...
    you'll nver find the place NOT busy.
    but yeh, the food court there- the food is also great ..especially the congeeeee..

    Hmm...here's a list of my must haves in HK:

    dan tart
    tau cheong chi fan (soy milk and glutinous rice)
    gui nin gou (herbal jelly)
    won ton noodles
    chou tou foo
    siu ngor (roasted goose) especially the shop chan kee in shum tseng!
    tang jai jook (seafood congee)

    mmm...can't think of anything else...

    as somebody said, you can get cheap and expensive food anywhere. In shopping centres, more expensive restaurants. Out on the streets, cheaper stuff. Depends on what you wanna get.

    almost everything u see you must try..
    hahaha~
    curry fish balls... street waffles... egg tarts... wonton and beef brisket noodles... these tastes best in HK~
    man i miss HK sooo much!!
