like reno says "the joyful memories"...well actually, i remember a lot of long nights and close to near "i'm gonna take this textbook and hurl it into a fire" episodes...haha
i hated biochemistry. can't say i enjoyed one nanosecond of it. it was freaking terrible but something i had to do. glad i got thru it without failing.
    good luck to u!!! FIGHTING!!!

i found that with biochem, a lot of it was more of "memorising", rather than "understanding"
but of course, u had to understand certain concepts etc
same applies with a lot of the biology, u had to kinda memorise all these initial stuff before u can actually apply it all...

hope for all your hard work, u actually stay in the biochem field, and make use of all this time ur spending for studying!! hehehe

else its always enjoyable to make a lil fire with ur notes (and the expensive textbooks! hahaha)

I liked the chem part of biochem, but switched majors to psychology b/c of bio.

omg...u and i wouldn't get along...i hate chem with a passion. chemistry classes actually made me cry. i would literally study this stuff day in and day out and still couldn't understand it. i remember being so worried about an exam i got so incredibly sick for days

looking at the terms u put in ur therad, i assume this is biochem year 1. Highschool bio doesnt teach TCA cycle or glycolysis to a indeapth level i dont think.

oh yea welcome to the club, did that 3 years ago ^^ .

I just finished taking a test on that. and the urea cycle and dark reactions and shiz. pretty rough. i blew the structures for ribulose and xylulose.
