    ^ intel has the old P4 named as dual core ( i think or pentium D) and the newer core 2 architecture under the name of core 2 duo

    core 2 duo is the much better option

    lol yea:D my comp spec is:
    AMD x2 4000+ (2.1ghz)
    about 320gb or 300gb hard drive..
    no graphic card:( cry!!! 6150le intergrated graphic..
    dvd rw..
    media card drive..
    vista home preminum..
    a 280w power supply i think.. not sure..
    its a Dell C521.. old model.. slim case though.. thats the hard problem about finding video card.... i want 8600gt low profile (slim version) http://www.gfe.com.hk/Product_Details.asp?id=135

    i have a 3.2 ghz p4 and a radeon 9200 agp can't even run unreal 2004 at full specs or even max res at medium settings :(

    quad is only good if you going to watch 20 movies at the same time or play 10 games :) hehe jking

    quad is good if your converting videos, doing things that actually needs to use the cpu... like when i put my comp on max performance while converting videos.. its much faster than a p4 2.8ghz...

    I'm thinking I might return my Quad G0 for a Xeon G0 on monday. I still need to get it built so it's all good. :D

    Quad cores eh... damn... technology speeding up too quickly and sofwares don't utilize all that power yet. My computer specs are as follow:

    AMD 64 3200+ Venice
    Asus A8N SLI Premium mobo
    Fortron Bluestorm 500W PSU
    1GB of Ram
    2 X 6600GT Vid Cards
    4 Sata HDDs: 250GB, 300GB, 320GB, & 500GB
    Raidmaxx 668 Com Case

    You need to get a sound card. :D

    Sometimes, multiple hard drives are better than a single large one. If you want performance, multiple hard drives is the way to go. Having 1 large hard drive will slow processes down since all the data will be pulled from 1 source.
