http://www.howardforums.com/ for all your phone unlocking needs. If it's not here, you'll probably have a very hard time finding it anywhere else

    speaking of unlocking phones...
do any of u here know how to flash phones and know where to obtain certain firmwire for some phones?

i'm looking at getting a new phone (i don't "need" one, i just "want" :p)
i'm still contemplating whether to get it here in SH (its not cheaper), but it can read/write chinese
not like i can read or write... but its better than getting squares wen u get sms's
and assuming i'm gonna b here for a while, mite as well get something that does chinese lol

cos it seems much cheaper to get it back in aus, don't know how that works tho
cos they ship it from asia to aust
and i'm gona buy it from aust to ship it back to asia...

    hmmph >.<

i'm looking at the U series samsung, either the u600 or u700
u600 is thinner, u700 has 3g (and there is no 3g network here in china *sigh*)
so just for a "play" fone to last me while i'm here, thats what i'm looking at

any ideas or thoughts abt what i should do?

there used to be a site i no that u can flash your phone but now it doesn't
work so sorry think ya will just have to take it to the shop..
flashing your phone does not even cost that much any ways;)

but the best things in life are FREEEEE
    lol

plus atleast it's more useful if u know how to do it urself, so u can do it anytime as opposed to taking it to shop and getting charged for it
it'd feel like a rip off getting charged $50 for a $300 fone... especially wen it only takes like a few mins... lol
but before i worry abt getting ripped off, need to have the fone hahaha
and i think its a lil hard to communicate what i want here in china.... :p

don't "need" to yet, cos i don't have the fone yet lol
but i am looking at the samsung u600

cos since i'd b in china, i'd want the china firmware on it
but i'd probably be buying the fone back in syd... then i just thought that its not gonna haf the chinese thingies on the keypad >.<

but the main focus is that i can receive and send chinese sms or wateva if needed (not like i can really type or read, but still lol)

just hope those online stores are open over hte xmas break, cos htats wen i go home
mayb u can flash it for me in person =P hehehehehe

yo if your gonna buy a fone in china then take extra care of where
u get it cos some china batteries r dodgy and they might
explode when your using it cos of over heating...

    bbes Incredible

well, im sure if u get it from a big city such as beijing from one of their large superstores that are well known then it should be fine. but ye i've heard that mobile phones from china break down quickly.
