Doing the 2 step autobots style huh hahaha, lol it would be better if you have a good home theather setup for that cause that movie is all about the graphics and sound. anyways hiake don't get too excited haha... -tongue2 lol, turn off your brain for once dude....just turn it off you might not be soo grumpy about mindless flicks all the time and have some happy times haha. -bigsmile

I do think Transformers has good action, but its the fact the first half of it was soooooooo boring and annoying. I'll enjoy an action movie, but not one that bores me. Another action movie I liked: The Matrix.
Matrix the film or Matrix the trilogy? The former was awesome while the latter was the walking epitaph of "gradual decline in quality"... My love for Transformers was totally unexpected... I wasn't even a fan of those CGI graphics (nor action, nor "superhero" flicks) But I totally hearted those "racing down a strip of road and transform and glide some more" sequence... Not particularly fond of the actual fighting scenes though, I can be weird like that...

I got sucked into the Matrix trilogy sad to say. And i was talking about the first one X-men 1 & 2, Spider-Man 1&2, Batman + Batman Returns (I think is was batman returns..... not sure lol), Batman Begins. No need to turn my mind off, cause it kept my attention for the majority of the run time. . That's all I ask from a mindless action movie. Just don't bore and annoy me.

Oh whatever, I am just glad I got its DVD for Christmas I agree that the Matrix got the greatest idea during its time (with tons of religious, literature and film references) but the second and third was crappy beyond belief because they put so much emphasis on the action and the CGI instead of the soul (plot and thoughts) of the film :( OMG I saw the trailers for Dark Knight and 10000BC when I went to see I am Legend tonight!!! Heath Ledger was so creepily awesome!!! And Gary Oldman -inlove 10000BC was kind of like a bad remake of the Apocalypto thought

Too distracted with making pretty graphics, but really, 2-3 years later, it's nothing but tired old CGI. Bad production decision, seriously. It was okay but it totally fell short of what I am expecting with all the hypes and every last person told me how it's the most amazing film ever made. They just need to see more, better films I wouldn't say it sucked, but it's not THAT awesome. I was expecting a lot from how the Omega Man and Last Man on Earth were so awesome, given the technology and budget I am Legend has now, can't say it exceeded the predecessors. And the pace of the plot was kind of off, not to mention that particular "trap" scene was totally overkill, it's just that Robert making it out alive without zombies swamping all over him was totally illogical, why just send those zombie dogs? (highlight for comment with spoiler)... And I thought the ending was too sudden, the sense of time was so twisted that I thought it was rushed near the end (thus the problem with pacing). The first 30 minutes was great though, I love the set even though it's not scientifically appropriate NYC will be MUCH more desolate and broken down after 3 years without maintenance hee hee...
Lol When me and my friends came out of the theater they were all like "That was awesome!" Then I had to break the chain by saying "It was ok, I liked it." lol Hype is overrated
I thought the "climax" near the end was BEYOND cliche... And I keep on wondering what it means by "immune", does that mean it's impossible to be infected? or what? Hype was definitely overrated. Now I just have to hunt down a copy of Sound of Thunder and see how bad cliche can turn into terrible cliche (although I am a fan of the short story on which Sound of Thunder was based on...)
