Ok... nothing to do with relationships... My friends want me to go out to the countdown for new year on 31st... Parents wont let me.. Why? they are paranoid maybe... Parent was like -nono don't go... lots of people... trust me don't go... I didn't argue on because my parents sound determined. Maybe someone can give me a suggestion... Should I just stay home...? OR should I argue with my parents until they let me..?
I remember those times.. sucks being ten years old, gotta admit. No arguing will help your parents overcome their fear of you getting mobbed during the countdown.
Depens on how old you are. For example, if you are 12 year old. I would let you go outside on your own. crowded + fireworks + (lack of sence =) ) ----> -nono As a parent it's normal that they care for you.
how old are u? if ur older than 18..i reckon u should keep whinin until they say yes...(doesnt work for everyone though) my parents prefer me to stay at home at least until after 12am....after that we just watch fireworks... they hand out those coolie lil red pockets and i can do whatever i like... so outta respect and cuz its a traditional thing i just stay home la... not just cuz of that though....clubbin during new years eve isnt somethin i wanna do anyway perhaps u can do what i did last year....invite ur friends to come over!? -sorc
ur parents r prolly scared that u mite end up in the middle of a terrorist attack... haha... my parents told me not to go to count downs a few yrs ago coz of that... but they weren't that worried coz they knew i hate crowds n it's impossible to find parking on that night anyway...
I'm pretty sure your parents might let you go if they know there is going to be adult supervision. Maybe you should ask one of your friends parents to go with you guys and your parents might say ok.
Who wants to chill around the city during new years with his/her parents following every step? I'm sure HayashiJin and his friends wouldn't want that either.
ask them again and say its at your friends house... if u still can't.. u can just sneak out from ur room's window.. =P or just stay at home and HEE-eh.. yaddamean?! or join the cyber countdown =P
I agree with you, but since he's 15, i assume his friend is also 15. 2 x 15 + fireworks = trouble ( It's natural that parents think that way) 15 x X + fireworks = lots of trouble (X is a variable) (since i assume you wont chill with 2 people alone) Maybe you did something irresponsible in the past, that's why your parents wont let you. Since my brother did something irresponsible in the past, everytime he is going to chill out, he first get the *dont drink to much*,*dont come to late*, *dont get into fights* and *use precaution* routine. And i dont hehe -rolleyes
errrr.... yeah that is kinda young... are u even allowed to acces any clubs or whatever? or is it a party at someones place? anyways... just outta curiosity... what would u b doing? drinkin and all that? hey....some chin parents....u never know especially when ur a girl... if my parents or anyone else's parents would b there dude.... id rather stay home la
-^_^ LOL DRINKING? Na imma very good boy. No smoke no drink. everything is right... Seriously THERES NOT GOING TO BE GIRLS THERE LOL!!! All boys -sweat Of course girls would be better -inlove If never done anything irresponsible... ever... NEVER INNA FIGHT LOL Sigh... friends are all like... its not gunna be the same without you. My life is so PAINFULLL
