This thought just popped in my head, because of a situation that I was in. About a year ago I met a guy who was related to a very close friend of mine. Somehow he developed feelings me, but I wasnt really interested in him in that way. Anyway, just recently I found out that he was in prison, out on probation, for murder, as in he walked up to some fellow and shot him in the head.-unsure My Q for you guys is, how much would you overlook in a potential gf/bf's past? Could you really move on with that person knowing that they did something so awful? Just curious. (mods: If this subject has already been covered feel free to delete.)
depends on what happened and how it happens... if he just did it for no reason...then ehhh... preferably not not my typa dude to hang out with then =/ but hey if it was out of self defense or maybe like the person he shot did something really bad to his family members or whatever id be more understanding
Walking up to someone and shooting them seem too random for me. How do I know that person won't do that one day? If he/she had a good reason for shooting the other person, then I might consider it. Generally if a person committed a felony, I wouldn't be friends with them.
but if they're born-again Christians then even if they shot 5 people and smuggled drugs, you still HAVE to give them a chance..
i would be scared. hahahaha. but yeah like Ecko said, if they were moderate Christians and not extremists....extremists for any religion is just plain weird and freaky...then i suppose you should give them a chance. further more, they HAVE been in jail, which is a detention centre, it should be human to give them a chance... but then again, i would be shit scared xD
petrify is taking it to the next level...a bit over powering perhaps. it would be scary but not even terrifying...maib horrific. but at most horrific.
i wouldnt . if u go out withthis dude, who knows if one day he'll get pissed off and pop u ni the head too?
i think id stay a pretty long distance away from anyone who was unbalanced enough to shoot someone in the face. there are billions of other great people out there... why would you even want to start a relationship with a murderer.
OMG... it's the second time i'm agreeing with wind again >.< wot's wrong with me... anyway... i've heard of social workers end up marrying someone in prison for murder... he studied very very hard when he served his years n got himself a law degree... n during those times he was really keen on helping his fellow convicts in goal (jail)... i guess it all comes to whether the convicted person truely have remorse of what they did n what he/she's gonna do for the rest of his/her life...
Murder is kind of hard to overlook. But if the person is truly a changed person than maybe. But then again you'll always have the thought in the back of your mind that this person might snap and take someones life (including yours).-sweat
You must be sleepy thats why -lol Or you must be becoming geeky too. Ill share this PA title with you. hahaha
