Do you sometimes feel sick of your friends and why?

Recently, I don't feel like hanging out with my many years friends (2 best friends and 1 vacation friend). One of my best friend's birthday is coming up. The other 2 wanted to throw a surprised party for her and asked if we can do it at my house. I normally would agree. This time, I declined them. I feel that they live on their own, why can't they do it at theirs. Am I being taken advantage of? They threw a surprised one for me last year at my house also. I rather dine out rather than partying at home. I don't like the idea of cleaning up afterward.

Maybe suggest it to them to go out instead of your house? I dont think you are tired of your friends, more like tired of cleaning up.

Yes I have, I left all my friends behind a yea ago. Because I had outgrown them.

I left my old life behind, and started all over. I left my friends, my school, and my old self.

Along the, I made many many new friends. My old friends were really holding me back. So I let them go.

I came across people that really influenced me, people from all walks of life. I also added something meaningful to their life. There are no such thing as "losers", everyone belongs in their own place, and everyone has the power to grow.

You never know who your going to come across, you will also never get a chance to meet everyone. Some people you will come across by chance or by luck, usually these are the ppl who will change your life.

ye i agree with wind u just seem to be more tired of cleaning up and thats prob why they decide to have a party at urs cos they don't want to clean up either. just suggest going out for a meal or something or bowling. theres loads of stuff u can do outside ur house and to still have fun.

We usually take birthday person out for many years. For a change, they want to do something different. They took me out but surprised me when I drove home. They got there before me luckily because I got on a wrong freeway. They wanted to continue drinking...so they wanted to continue at one's place.

And yes, we are taking the birthday one out tonight! I don't feel like going because of the above issue.

Simply tell them that. Dont need to hold back on anything because if they are really your friend, they would understand.

  7. as u get older as becomes more difficult to find genuin friendship... so cherish wot u have atm...

if u dun want to hold the party at ur place u can joke around n say u dun wanna clean up all they mess by urself... get them to help u... or do like wot u did... take the bday person out to dinner...

for me i'll never get sick of my fds... i've known my best fd for 16 yrs... i lover her n her dog to death kekeke...

    you could be either

    1) one outgrowing them
    2) annoyed with them using you
    3) bored of them

i mean, you could be annoyed only becuase you want new friends and so you start seeing negative qualities
or instead their negative qualities are annoying you therefore you are starting to fall away

some how i feel what i'm trying to say isn't making sence in the word choices I am using

question: If they did not ask to use your place, would you still be sick of them?
if yes, you need to find new friends,
if no, you just need to talk it out with your friends

I dont' think you're tired of your friends. You just need to spend some time in the company of others besides them. But eventually you'll find that there's nothing like old friends.

Having been friends with them for so long, I'm sure you guys know each other long enough to understand each other and be comfortable in each other's company. If you're not comfortable with cleaning up, then let them know how you feel?
