Deathnote 1 & 2... It was quite nice, can't be bothered to write up anything meaning about it at the moment, but L was delicious, can't wait to see him in the spin-off again :D

ETA> If only Light is better looking (he is like totally unattractive and always have an annoying smirk on his face that I want to smack it off)

  2. here hiake. an L wallpaper for you =)

I actually thought the Death Note movies were horrible. The first one was dead boring! The second one was a little better, but still fell short.

    Lol @ the L wallpaper.

@dann: why, thank you! Too bad it's not bigger... Though I already have a hot guy on my desktop :p

@khaotic: I thought the first one was okay, although I positively HATE the actor who plays Light... And the fact that he is so retarded (and still get away with it looking intelligent? Puh-lease)

Ken'ichi Matsuyama is HAWT, so all's forgiven. Now I just have to hunt down Nana and further drool over his good-looking-ness *heart*

  5. screw the ugly guy you have as your wallpaper. you take this L wallpaper, set it as background, center it, and choose black as background color. -cool2

offtopic: btw, did you say you know where the source for my avatar is? i need hi res of everything else =(

Not at home right now, I'll try to get you the name of the artist (and the title of the illustration) later today.

PS> Just so you know, that Wolverine image is one of a handful out of the illustration book, the rest of the book was dedicated to the artist's original work. I can't believe I can't recall the artist's name right now UGH -sweat

just came home from watching 27 dresses and cloverfield
27 dresses was a typical chick flick, but i liked it ^-^
and i really don't see the big deal everyone was making out of cloverfield
    it wasn't bad though ..

The big deal is that everyone got sucked into JJ Abrams viral marketing scheme.

lol looks like michelle survived the groggy camera.....

anyways just watched 3:10 to yuma, really good movie with superb acting....well that is until the ultra confusing and random ending....left me saying what the fuck!!!! if you guys watch this movie....stop it 10 minutes before the ending or so because it will almost ruin the whole movie for you seriously. I dunno if i will even listen to the most reasonable explanations for the ending it was just bad.

it wasn't that bad ... just had to wait like 10 minutes for my eyes to adjust
    no motion sickness was involved

last movie i watched was meet the spartans. i can honestly say it's the most stupidest/random-est movie EVER. just like epic mvie, etcetc. ugh it was such a waste of my time -.-"

Meet The Spartans... I watched the TV trailer and a part of me just died. If you're gonna make a parody film AT LEAST PARODY THE RIGHT FILMS! "Say hello to my little friend" is not from rambo, it's from scarface <_<

Can you imagine the aggravation I have when people insist that certain very famous movie quote from a Stephen Chow film was original? It was from Chungking express TT_TT, and then they go around parody that particular quote according to the Stephen Chow film. GUH

It's just sad when tribute is not paid where credit is due.

Tribute? Meet the Spartans is far from a tribute. More like an insult to film makers and movie watchers everywhere.

    hiake Vardøgr of da E.Twin

LOL, that tribute remark was more pointing towards the Wong Kar-Wai film :p

But if imitation is the most sincere form of compliment and all these bad spoofs are trying, I am sure many films would rather NOT be "complimented"... -sweat

Hey if I was a filmmaker... They would have to kill me before they could ever try to put my movie in a dumb parody like that :\
