Thursday February 07, 2008 Hong Kong Charlene Choi (蔡卓妍) was among the EEG artistes attending a Chinese New Year event at The Link shopping mall in Wong Tai Sin today. Originally, her Twins partner Gillian Chung (鍾欣桐) was also due to attend, but following the recent events linking her to the sex photo scandal, she was naturally absent from the function, the reason being given as illness. Talking of her wishes for the new year, Charlene said that the most important was for good health. Asked if she hopes that the scandal will soon blow over, she replied that she did not want to say too much, but she knew that their fans were very worried about Gillian, so she wanted to reassure them on her behalf. She added that in the past seven years, Twins have weathered many troubles and they will be able to get through it all on this occasion too. Yumiko Cheng (鄭希怡) was drafted in at the last minute to take Gillian's place and despite having to rush from a previous event in Tsuen Wan, she said that she did not mind. Asked if she had been in contact with Gillian, Yumiko replied that she had sent an SMS to show her support, but she had not received a reply. Fellow EEG singers at the event, including Sherman Chung (鍾舒漫), Vincy Chan (泳兒), Kenny Kwan (關智斌) and Ken Hung (洪卓立) all declined to comment, saying simply that the matter was in the hands of the police. Vincy said that although she is not married yet, she will still be handing out lucky packets because she has done quite well in her career last year and the new year should be a happy occasion for everyone. u are aware that those pics are real. i just don't see why everybody is blaming edison, u can't just put all the blame on him bcos the girls are to blame for allowing the photos to be taken in the first place. anyways if the photos were fake then they would still attend the event and when asked they would just say the photos were fake.
if it's real then it's really her fault so i don't really feel sorry for her...but whatever twins and edison are mediocre actor and actresses, especially the twins and they are also bad music artists too soo don't really care too much on their absence.
^ LOL harsh but true... As for the piece of news... It's like a huge wardrobe malfunction en mass... Ugly clothes anyone? The stylist should be shot AND hanged.
lol hiake should get a job as a stylist then -whistle anyways yea twins and edison suck even though he is an ok actor in some movies, only when he's silent haha... i don't really like either but i can see charlene standing out more.
I don't like neither of the TWINS, but frankly, Charlene at least LOOK as if she's trying... Gillian always strikes me as a trophy celebrity... She can't sing, she can't dance (though she's better at cart wheel, I was told), she can't act (too conscious of her BEAUTIFUL face, can be annoying at times)... She's like a walking epitaph of "talentless star"... Edison... At least he's trying (sometimes)
^but he needs to shut his mouth to be an ok actors...examples: Internal Affairs too (ok in there, barely said a word)...Dog Bite Dog (ok in there....didn't even know how to speak lol) Initial D (talked, terrible) Twins Effect (talked, terrible).... hmmm is there a pattern?
Don't know about the rest, but in Initial D, most characters are so disturbingly flamboyant that I don't particularly notice his lack of acting skills -tongue2 Though I am sure his accent can drive me nuts in a matter of seconds >.<
^true jay chou had the worst faked cantonese accent haha....and the other one's just for show or something haha....yea edison needs to play a person who can't speak forreals not even make a sound lol for his acting to achieve success lol...
