I stand corrected on the bang and olufsen a8's. There on point. I didn't realize that the mp3 player you have effects the sound of the music.-noclue I had a 5th gen video i pod for a year and half and didn't realize that the sound quality was getting worse. Now I have to upgrade to a new mp3 player, I'll probably get the zune.-^_^
yep, my 4th gen iPod has such terrible sound quality, i upgraded to the new zune and now it actually does my bose headphones justice. however, i wouldn't recommend the zune 80 if you are into audiobooks or video. The screen, while large, is terribly pixellated. Also, the zune doesn't hold what song or audiobook you were in when you turn it off and turn it back on. pisses me off cuz some of my audiobooks are just huge 400 mb files that i cant fast forward through quickly because of the gay squricle button. one other pet peeve I have with the zune is that its like impossible to select things by pressing the middle of the squircle, when i try to navigate i inevitably end up switching to a new song or restarting the song when i don't want to. Its probably the most terrible control set up i've ever experienced. in all honestly i hate my zune at this point lol, its useless to me. unfortunately I can't return it cuz i got it from a BB in socal. If i were to do this again I would have just gotten an iPhone or a 16 gig ipod touch.
^Bigc84 get either creative or cowon if you want like the best sound i think.... i think zune and ipod have sub par sound anyways... but damn 160 for headphones...i know that's probably less than the price for mid-range but crazy....so they are not in-ear, do they have good bass? (imma bass freak lol, don't care for the classical and non-bass type music here)
I've been using my iPAQ for 4 years now, an ancestor to the widely popular iPhone. The sound quality is amazing, touch screen, Windows Mobile, Wi-Fi, it's almost my second laptop. I wish HP continued making it
^^ I thought the zune's were good but I may have to look into the creative or cowon. The bass is pretty good but the headphones don't deliver extra bass. I have the triports which deliver really good bass but it is not as clear sounding as the A8's. For example listening to rock or jazz with the a8's you can hear a crisp sound of the different instruments a lot better and the singing sounds better but when it comes to the music with heavy bass its really good for in-ear headphones but lacks the extra bass. The other good thing about the headphones is that although its not a true in-ear headphone once the music is playing you can't really pick up any outside noise.
I bought some beef udon noodle soup from edo japan, it was pretty good. a candy apple from Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory or whatever. And a Cosmopolitan Feb uk edition magazine.
