Her statement length was approximately 2 minutes long. Appearance Edison: Lame t-shirt. Didn’t really pay attention to his hair. It created a drab and dreary feeling. Gillian: Long straight hair which is a different hairstyle which appeared in the pictures. It was to prevent association with the pictures. Emotion Edison: Black eyes and unshaven. Unsuccessful businessman look. Gillina: She had makeup on and was smiling to people. She seem to be in high spirits. Speech Edison: English script. Emotionless like reading from a book. Gillian: Used Cantonese and emotionally expressive. Location Edison: A dimly lit room. A grey-white background which makes the location mysterious. Gillian: At the hotel/restaurant where her fans gathering were held. The location was bright and open. The atmosphere was warm and lively.

Shldn't it be Vincy Yeung? maybe it's the same in Chinese, but I don't know Chinese. if Yeung is the same as Chan .. then forgive me.
Not true, it's Bobo Chan and Gillian Chung, I'd give you that. But Cecilia CHEUNG with an E there, and the Vincy involved was not the new artiste from EEG (Vincy Chen) but Albert Yeung's niece Vincy Yeung... Chan and Cheung are common last names, even IF there's the coincidence it means nothing. Would you be surprised that more Smiths had died in the past year than Rosenbergers?
On second thought, I think this particular article missed a few important points: LANGUAGE: Gillian speaks in Cantonese because that is her native language; Edison speaks in English because that is HIS native language, like it or not, audiences just have to deal with the fact that Cantonese isn't the ONLY language that can delivers sincerity. ATMOSPHERE: Gillian's press conference was held IN a fan gathering, loads of support available, and if any single report dare cross the line of "upsetting Gillian", I bet he would be lynched and torn into million little pieces. Plus, EEG staged the whole thing. Edison's release was a lot more private, non-interactive that he stated his intent and be done with it. I almost applaud for his screw-the-world attitude. PUBLIC OPINION: Gillian is perceived as a victim, and she is given a lot of leeway in terms of her misdoings. People would have been appreciative even if she just sit there and smile. Edison is perceived as a criminal, the overarching rabid sentiment I have seen so far consists of certain violent death of him. No amount of good he does would likely change that particular opinion.
Naw, due to etiquette, people wouldn't do so much as point and laugh, but practice gossip and half smiles instead. And I seriously think that the majority of people consider Gillian as a victim or at least is sympathetic towards her.
everytime the names gillian, celina, edison comes up, I think of dumb coksucker, big bush (ewww), sicko pervert with std, or aids...the apology from edison was really lame, he spoke with a chinese accent...I thought he was Hk...so sad for someone that was supposed to be North American...
