Kidd to dallas ... Shaq to phoenix ...looks like it will be a interesting second half of the season...lakers also a threat now too.
I still think this deal is bogus... you send away your young talented point guard who is progressing every year, half of your anti-Tim Duncan squad, and TWO first round picks... for Jason Kidd? I'm not even so sure you can WIN with Kidd... atleast not the Mavs... does anyone honestly believe Kidd can guard Baron? Nash? Deron Williams? CP3? Tony Parker? So you lose what would have been ur future point guard... the ability to pick up another future point guard via first round pick #1, and the ability to offset the ageing Dirk or Dampier 2 years down the road from another first round pick... If this team doesn't win it this year and/or next... it's gonna be the next Miami...
man, the all star dunk was hilarious, but the 3pt and all star game is just ok. last year, it was better. more dunking and more competitive.
SA picks up Kurt Thomas... well there goes the Mavs' chances I say... Now SA has a solid front court...
The Lakers are debut spoilers. -woot2 they spoiled shaq, bibby and shawn marion debut by whooping them
option Knickerbockers With all the right moves, the Knicks "should" be able to have somewhat a successful year. IF AND ONLY IF... Thomas leaves all team functions alone. The guy's got enough problems already. FIRE THOMAS! Definitely not worth keeping, and most definitely not worth a penny.
I'd still get rid of Starbury b4 Isiah... I mean on paper... Isiah has a really good team out there... just not working for some reason or another...
KNICKS ARE HOPELESS, theym ight as well do what seattle and memphis is doing and trade/ drop all their expensive players and rebuild with young stars such as rudy gay or kevin durant oh and idd cavs and bulls just make a monster trade? wth did the cavs do, larry hughes are a key to the little offense in which cavs already had, gg ben wallace + z what am ix up that'll be..
problem with the Knicks doing a Seattle/Memphis... NO ONE wants Starbury... his contract is HUGE... Larry Hughes has been crap since coming to the Cavs... He was WAY overpaid for what he was contributing... Big Ben is a gamble... I'm pretty sure in the end he'll do better than Drew Gooden... But they also get Szcerbiak for Donyell which is another plus... then they get Delonte West... FINALLY the Cavs get an effing point guard who could turn out doing well... and Joe Smith's not half bad... good Role Player... problem with the Cavs now is they won't have much relief at all in terms of cap... they either win it... or wait till Ben's contract goes up... **OMG... what I wanna know is WTF did the Rockets do? Bonzi and Mike James for Bobby Jackson and some no name guard?!?! and a pick?... wtf happens if TMac goes down again -shock... I know they want to prepare for the future, I mean this gives them more cap space... but comon... not much depth in the squad really :(
fire isiah. keep david lee and crawford. the rest of the knicks should just be traded for other players.
all this trading seems a little ridiculous, especially the houston/ new orleans. i mean, both mike james and bonzi for bobby jackson??!?!?!?! bobby is old and on his way out. every team is trying to counter the lakers getting gasol..... regardless, did anyone see the warriors beat the celtics last night? baron davis delivering
i was sopposer to be there ^ TT but boobbie (gibson) is out for 6 weeks, damn i have him on my two teams in fantasy too TT, they traded hughes hoping gibson should start soon WOW
yes, it was very smart for cleveland to trade hughes away. hughes was crappy. shot too much and made too little. its a shame gibson got hurt, he's going to be good. bummer you missed out the sellout game.
Detroit acquires Juan Dixon and cash considerations from Toronto in exchange for Primoz Brezec. he was useless anywayss
OMG I just saw... Houston trades Snyder + 2nd rnd + Cash for GERALD GREEN!... ok... so then the Bobby Jackson trade does help this trade out a little bit... Lets hope Gerald Green can be the guy that blows out the candle for Houston come playoff time eh?
today's trade n a three-team trade, Cleveland acquires Ben Wallace, Joe Smith and a 2009 second-round pick from Cleveland plus Wally Szczerbiak and Delonte West from Seattle; Chicago acquires Drew Gooden, Larry Hughes, Shannon Brown and Cedric Simmons from Cleveland; Seattle acquires Donyell Marshall and Ira Newble from Cleveland and Adrian Griffin from Chicago. In a three-team trade, New Orleans acquires Bonzi Wells and Mike James from Houston, Houston acquires Bobby Jackson, Adam Haluska and a 2008 second-round pick from New Orleans as well as the rights to Sergei Lishouk from Memphis and Memphis acquires Marcus Vinicius from New Orleans and the draft rights to Malick Badiane from Houston. Denver acquires Taurean Green from Portland in exchange for Von Wafer. Detroit acquires Juan Dixon and cash considerations from Toronto in exchange for Primoz Brezec. Houston acquires Gerald Green from Minnesota in exchange for Kirk Snyder, a second-round pick in 2010 and cash considerations. playoffs is gonna b exciting!
Wallace isn't needed in the Cavs Larry Hughes can bank in 3 pointers Drew Gooden was good assists with James i guess
