I agree that it really depends on the service. I usually tip 10 percent if the service is bad and 30 if it's good.
Tipping does depend on the service. If it was me I would tip just so next time they won't spit in my food or do something to it.
i tip when i go out to eat but sometimes yeh wen i'm out with my friends from english school...they dont understand why we tip so wen we pay 2geva they take all the change and its bare awkard cos the waiter sometimes looks at us...=/ but i always leave them a tip anyways... where i work...some customers is not 'sing mok' sometimes cos we treat them to sweets (desserts) and coffee...and they leave without giving a tip grr but o wells lol...
thats not entirely true cos english people tend to tip as well, its just that ur friends have no manners and don't understand why they should give a tip.
hey! my friends do have manners...just cos they dont understand why dont mean they aint got manners...
nah theres no point in that, its not like u get much service in a pub to buy a pint. thats understandable then, people who are that age shouldn't rele need to tip anyway, people are quite skint so there shouldn't be an expectation for ppl to tip.
I thought english people tip really well. Well, at least where I live. The standard for a dinner is 12-20% tips at english restaurants. Standard for chinese restaurants is 10%. I heard that people chase you down for tips if you don't tip them here. I remember that when I first went to Beijing for vacation with my family, we tipped the waitress for her service at the end after paying our bill and she was, like, "why are you giving me money?" I guess they didn't have such a thing there in restaurants.
tipping??it all depends on my mood actually...hehe coz service charges are already in the price we are payinng
If service is good, i'll give a decent tip...And if i'm already being charged of 10% service charge, i probably wont tip...I'm not working yet, still studying...
I only tip when there is good services and atmosphere for me to actually enjoy yourself in. If its dirty, bad service and with 10% already...then hell NO!
there's really no need.. unless they pick up keep picking up the plates.. but i mean.. I guess they don't expect as much tip being that its a bufffet..
I would only tip if a nice looking female served me nah, depens on the service and the mood I have, most dutch people usualy dont tip.....-what?
