you guys are underestimating how the spurs are VET team as to these young lakers of pau gasol bynum and odom vujaic farmar who lacks the playoff confidence which the spurs have. the suns will be unable to stop the spurs either becuz they no longer have the matrix who provided a defense pressure that is, in my opinion, more important to shaqs who only covers the inside but then again, we'll wait and see! spurs did beat the mavs today in an epic match just cuz u compare the reputations of pau and shaq to kurt thomas, doesn't mean that spurs are a lost cause, infact, they have the motivation of repeating which they've failed to do over hte years
I never said that the Spurs were a lost cause... I'm just saying they won't roll into the finals like turbo suggests... The Spurs are and will be, until Duncan retires, a finals contender... but even so, they still have arguably the toughest conference in a DECADE... we've got a season ending with a possible NINE teams over 50wins... the entire western conference is stacked with amazing teams that are all legitimate contenders... an to be honest... ur comparing playoff experiences... but comon... there's only really one man you have to mention... y wouldn't they be an elite team??? they probably have one of the league's best defense. for most of the time, they can score when they need to and really control the tempo. they're probably didn't do that good earlier on in the season because they were under a new coach. but i guess we'll have how they do against the mavs tonight. darn't, the warriors lost to charolette. they better beat the heats, otherwise it'll be embarassing
