I think the main difference is westerners have a "can do" attitude, Asians have a "can't do" attitude relatively more. So since birth, Asians tend to say to their children : don't do this, don't do that....white parents tend to mind their children less and be less control freaks. When a aisan child falls over the parents tend to shout and nag the child for being careless. White parent will not do this usually. In the NL freedom of expression and will are high. Another big difference is Asians have more focus on the best or the ultimate thus looking out more on the consequences. westerners tend to just muddle along and then see what happens next. When I was in NL, the people there are more easy going and liberal and they have an optimistic lifestyle. Asians tends to cast extreme warnings to their children even in a secure and prosperous environments. e.g. if you don't eat this you will die of hunger, if you don't get good exam results you will beg in the streets, if you have sex with a stranger you will get disease, etc. These are the main factors. Most current generations that I know of live together prior to marriage. However it is unusual to have children without marriage for Asians whereas this is quite common with the whites.
sex before marriage is an individual choice and it depends on the relationship of the couple. I don't think it should be something controlled by society's views of what is acceptable or what is not acceptable nor should the choice be dictated by your parents. You know your feelings better than anyone.
In Asian countries sex is not considered good before the marriage . I am also an Asian but I am not against having sex before marriage . I don't see any harm in it . That is why I am having sex with my girl friend .

Any one heard of the " 6 month rule ", in most cases couples tend to have sex within 6 months. The relation may not last over 6 months without sex.

All i have to say is..... there are MANY asian girls that like to get freaky very fast...... dated a chick 3 days and SHE caught me off guard.... that is ridiculous....
