Her bank account was emptied, leading him to believe that Chi Wing killed his daughter and took all her money. Chi Wing refuses to comment on the issue, even at the cost of defending himself. He quits his job at the cafe to avoid Don and the others. Ka Yan becomes suspicious, but Chi Wing tells her to trust him. Sasa's manga is finally published, but she doesn't stop tormenting Don. After founding out the real reason behind his 'incurable disease', she pretends to help cure him, but was really causing him to suffer in pain. When Don sees Sasa's manga, he realizes that she had been using him along. Both begin to argue and officially break up. Ka Yan becomes troubled after hearing Chi Wing's past with Yuen Jing. Her father takes her to see the detective who worked on the case. Lam sir confirms that he had always been suspicious of Chi Wing. Ka Yan decides to ask Chi Wing the truth, but both of them begin to argue... After the breakup, both Don and Sasa's personalities begin to change. Jessie invites Don out for dinner. Jessie's father sees them together and believes they are dating. Chi Wing finally finds a new job, but Ka Yan starts to lose her trust in Chi Wing. While cleaning Chi Wing's apartment, Ka Yan finds a stack of postcards from Japan. When Chi Wing finds out that she read through them, they get into another heated argument. Episode 12: Chi Wing receives a letter from Japan, which left him very unsettled... After her argument with Chi Wing, Jade tells Ka Yan not to give into Chi Wing so easily and coaches her to not to pick up any calls from him. When Ka Yan finally picks up the phone, she realizes that Chi Wing left her a message telling her that he had urgent business in Japan, leaving Ka Yan very upset. Jessie meets with Don and asks him for help to avoid Dino. When they run into Dino, Jessie suddenly tells him that Don is her boyfriend. Dino informs their circle of friends. Sasa becomes very angry and starts arguing with Don. She also warns Jessie that Don isn't a good person. Ka Yan becomes very agitated after Chi Wing left and is unable to concentrate on her work. While out shopping, she suddenly feels pressure on her ears and gets into an accident. Her aunt immediately takes her to the doctor. While waiting for her report to come out, she finds out the location of where Chi Wing is in Japan. Ka Yan secretly purchases a plane ticket from Martin at the travel agency and heads to Japan to see Chi Wing. Gossip magazines begin reporting Jessie and Don's relationship. Jessie's father contacts Don and offers him a chance to work together. Although Don admits that he's not dating Jessie, Jessie's father appreciates him for his honesty. While in Japan, Ka Yan once again feels pressure on her ears, but refuses to give up her search of Chi Wing. She finally meets him and they reunite. But at that time, her aunt receives news of her medical report... Episode 13: Chi Wing tells Ka Yan that he's in Japan looking for someone, but he refuses to disclose the details. He tricks Ka Yan in order to make her return to Hong Kong. Right before she leaves, Ka Yan finds out that Chi Wing was lying to her and decides not to go. Unable to convince her to leave, Chi Wing finally tells Ka Yan that he's in fact looking for Yuen Jing, because he found out that she is seriously ill... Don meets with Jessie's father Wong Wing Fu, who requests he resign from the cafe to help him at his company. Don is unable to decide and is further agitated when Jessie admits her feelings to him. Don runs into Sasa and they surprisingly are able to have a decent conversation with each other. Sasa tells Don to accept Wing Fu's offer. Later, Sasa overhears Jessie and Julie's conversation and finds out that Jessie and Don frequently go out together. Even though she feels hurt, she acts generously and tells Don to accept Jessie. Chi Wing and Ka Yan continue looking for Yuen Jing. Chi Wing tells Ka Yan that after he and Yuen Jing broke up, she ended up contracting AIDS. The more Ka Yan listens, the more she believes that Chi Wing is a good person. The two of them finally run into Yuen Jing. In Hong Kong, Ka Yan's doctor explains her medical report to her father. When Siu Gai hears, he immediately buys a ticket to Japan... Episode 14: Seeing that Chi Wing bought his new girlfriend to find her, Yuen Jing acts coldly in front of them and refuses to continue her treatment. Ka Yan tells Chi Wing not to push Yuen Jing, but in reality knows that it's because of her presence, Yuen Jing decides to not receive treatment. Knowing that Yuen Jing cannot forget about Chi Wing, she begins to feel that she has become the third party in their relationship... On this first day of work, Don's superiors look down on him, stating that he's using his relationship with Jessie to secure his position. At the same, Sasa gets pressure from her boss to produce adult manga. Sasa phones Don to ask his opinion and the both commiserate together. Unable to handle the demands of her editor, Sasa resigns. While catching up with KK and Dino, Don finds out that Sasa quit her job. He really misses Sasa and tells his friends that even though Sasa's not rich, he still loves her. Don quickly phones Sasa, but she misses his call as she was in the midst of her Japanese exam. Ka Yan knows that Yuen Jing dislikes her and excuses herself to call home in order to avoid being alone with her. Jade picks up the phone and tells Ka Yan that her situation is serious. In the midst of her shock, Ka Yan's disease acts up causing her to lose consciousness... Siu Gai arrives at the hospital just as Ka Yan wakes up. oh god yes, glad some1 thinks so too, thought i was the only one. Don't get me wrong, I do like her character, but wats with the 1000 questions, give the guy a break, his allowed his own secret. I just dont like how clingy shes become, cos it makes her character really annoying!
i have to agree...but in reality aren't a lot of women like that? they like to know everything & become suspicious easily. having answers gives them confidence. to guys, its plain annoying, guys don't talk about their feelings much.
I wouldnt wana generalise that, but to an extent guess women are, though i think many would know wen to stop. I like to think many women tend to have a kinda 6th sense and know wen to drop it for the moment, which Niki doesnt seem to do, its almost like the writer has over-exaggerated how clingy she should be. But hey, just my opinion
I think Niki's reaction is understandable bcoz in this drama, she plays an innocent lady in love. If i'm not wrong, Kevin is her 1st BF. So, she might not know when to stop bugging her BF. Just my opinion
She was only clingy on the topic that Kevin could be a potential murderer due to missing Yuen Jing. She is wants to know more about Kevin as well as his past relationship, which is understandable. And when someone acts strangely and not give you the answer, naturally you become more intrigue by this reaction. But after that, a lot of her questions are in her own head and that's just showing her thinkig process not to be annoying.
SPOILERS AHEAD FOR EP 15 [HIDE]Episode 15 - credit:lovebosco.net Ka Yan returns to Hong Kong and undergoes more tests. Test results determine that she has cancer. Although she is clearly shaken, she puts on a calm demeanor in front of everyone else. Ka Yan also doesn't know how to tell Chi Wing the truth... Wing Fu wants Don and Jessie to officially start dating. This leaves Don very troubled. He tells everyone that he'll just go with the flow. Ka Yan starts treatment but decides to keep it a secret from Chi Wing. Chi Wing remains in Japan as he hopes to arrange a reunion between Yuen Jing and her father. Ka Yan is upset by his delay, but doesn't voice it to Chi Wing. Ka Yan starts feeling the side effects of her treatment and reacts coldly to Chi Wing to cover up her illness. Chi Wing becomes confused by her behaviour. Sasa sees tabloid reports of Don and Jessie's relationship, which leaves her upset. Ka Yan's illness acts up at home and Siu Gai rushes her to the hospital. Fortunately it wasn't serious, but it causes Ka Yan to miss a call from Chi Wing.
