Yup, it can be bought by the street vendors ih Hong kong. Waffle like but shape like a ball. No sauce needed just eat it while it is warm.............

Can't find it here from where I'm at. Found some recipe but just need to convert it.

lol , the snacks are kinda stupid in HK tho i mean like $10 for a packet of chips and a rice dish is like $20, im pretty sure most ppl would go for the rice, anyway 魚蛋 is better in HK ^^ tho udont see those carts very often

If anyone happen to be in HK, you have to try the ones in Tsim Sha Tsui, it is always packed with people lining up.

It's much better now for these kind of food as many of them are opened inside the shopping centres so it will not be "dirty" or unclean.

OMG! I've been wanting to have some since I came back from HK too. I saw some in TO's chinatown, but was like 3 or 4$. Too overpriced compared to HK (even if it meant that i would be having some :/), where it would be about 1$CAN or 8$HK. Doubt you can do it right.... need that gai dan zai maker thing and the right technique.

But it was soo good, I would almost get one every other day while I was there. XD Crunchy on the outside, but so warm and moist on the inside. haha sooo good @__@

You nailed it on the spot it is way too pricey if they have it overseas and I can not find a place that sells that type of maker.

But like you said it is sooo good Crunchy on the out side and warm on the inside.
