    lol, but those foods are so different, ones more like a dessert and the other is a meal. though i have to say cake on this occasion as they are so many types. eg. cheesecake, carrot cake etc but only a small variety of pies.

    I couldn't pick because they are both sooooo good.

    Pies can mean Apple, Raspberry, Blueberry, Meat Pies
    Cakes can mean Cheesecakes, Mudcakes

    which are all sensational of course.

    no but a tart can also be classifed as a cake. i think tart is in between the two lol.

    Definitely cake. I've never been a fan of pie because I don't like the overly sweet, drippy fillings.
