so she's pushed by the record label to quit TVB or what....lol only saw her in like one TVB drama and like just some of the awards show...never watch them anymore cause either they are very corny and boring or the results are disappointing, also really, barely any new hk artists deserves any awards haha.
I'll miss her, i like her acting and her laugh. seeing her on screen makes me smile. I don't believe she left for the awards but instead maybe for more money.
But in HK, if you want to be popular and famous, being in TVB is like the best way to do it. Hope it's not true, I like miriam, she's pretty out going and fun.
Nah, the way I see it, TVB is like McDonald's, everyone has worked there at least once before they get to find something better.
I haven't seen her in any recent dramas or movies from tvb though. She's a great singer, and sometimes you have to give and take a little. I think she will succeed whatever she decides, but I am bummed she is not part of tvb anymore. Good times gone by. sigh.
I agree with what she does. No point staying if they dont treasure you. See nowdays already many actor and actress doing it. The top award for female go to Joey is alright but Twins no offence I like them but they are in a Group. If they can get the best female group then all the duet singer can win the best group award already. Or mix group can get both best female and male award.
i don't understand wat contracting with TVB has to do with her gettin an award. i would imagine that probably didnt sing as well and thats y she didnt get an award. truthfully saying, i admire actors who are loyal to their company and not jumping around because of benefits. it would be nice if she signed a lighter type of contract rather than a full force one.
I never listen to any of her songs but I think she seems like a very positive person to me. I didnt know that she will get angry because of not getting any award. TVB is starting to lose a lot of talented people
1) The Award in HK entertainment industry has been exploited and exposed many, many times. The awards are meaningless. They are just hyped !!! 2) TVB is a monopoly and the mother,father of it all. If you wanan diss TVB, you won't get too far anymore. Snubbing them on these grounds won't be too good. 3) Miriam isn't that good to begin with. She's just promoted, but lacks genuine talent like the rest of the singers out there. Only a few are decent. Rarely are anybody worthy IMO.
i don't like all these music companies boycotting events or afterpartys just bcos they didn't win. it seems so strange and i think Miriam is quitting tvb cos her record company told her to.
lol.. i thought there was only tvb, atv and some other english channels i didnt know they have Cable TV Hong Kong
