I would not date online. That is soooo pointless and boring lol. Whats the point if you can't have that loved feeling around you all the time? And you'll always be doubtful if you have never seen that person.. scared its some 59 year old fat guy that lives in his mom's basement eating fried chicken all day. (I'm not that person bwahahahaa!) I tried it once when I was 12. Just for kicks. It was funny and adventurous and lasted a couple of months but not something I'll do again. I just don't understand how a relationship can work without the physical attachment. The one-on-one. All you get online is emotional attachment. Heck, the other person could be some sociopath who prey on people seeking online relationships for fun.
online dating MIGHT work but be very careful of the liars, cause the person your talking to can wear a fake mask. you wouldn't know
Of course on line dating is dangerous but it can also work. Two of my friends now are happily married and live in new york city. I don't personally suggest it for everyone ( dating wise on line) It is however a great way to make great friends.
Dating online can work for some. But I found an interesting site for this topic, intelligentpeople.com. They make you take an IQ test before you qualify to register for online dating. This is just the first step of evolution for online dating, soon they will "filter" out more and more people based on "common" characteristics. I'm waiting for the "must be this hot" to register filter, haha. Verified by Professional Photogs, lol. At that point, i think that site will make the most money.

i don't know whether friendster is consider one of the online dating/social network thingy. but i met my boyfriend there and we've been together for almost 4 years now =D not all those tht you meet on9 willl be bad. but extra precaution is a must! bring along a friend if you wanna meet him/her. it wouldn't be a problem if someone is sincere in being friends with you, what's more going further into the relationship. i brought along 7 other girlfriends with me when i met him for the first time and he brought along a mutual friend of ours. i nearly scared him off...hehe.
ye i wouldn't be surprised, 7 friends that would rele scare me. i would suddenly think omg have i being tricked into being beaten up here with so many ppl. usually one person is enough lol.
I always visit this forum because of new ideas and thinking. About dating thing. In My view its fake. Like you see something on it and get something different. Like my friend told me that he request a girl who was just 23 for date. But after meeting she is 35+ I mean totally fake.
i never try online dating b.c. i dont believe that people can find love through the internet. there are many sites like adullt friend finder is all b.s. website. most of the picture aren't even real.
