ill be so mad if the spurs lose the playoffs to suns. There's no team in nba history that cameback from 3-0. But from the way the spurs played suns 2 days ago, i have a feeling the suns will be the first team in the nba history to comeback fro 3-0. I hope they're just fuking wit suns. This aint the real spurs that i kno. But wateva, wateva happens, happens. i got faith in the. SO let's go SPURS!!!!

Nuggets choked as a whole, not just Melo. This isn't a first for Melo. But, reality is these stars (AI/MELO) do not play defense. They have to learn how to play it or they'll just be mediocre.-dead

Give credit to the Lakers for sweeping and for coming out and closing the Nuggets. The Lakers pulled through in Game 4 and Kobe was clutch. You see that fade in front of Kmart with 1 left on the shot clock? SICK !

it's Kobe... u come to expect his clutches in the 4th... I have high expectations for the Lakers... the sweep of the Nuggets came to me as no surprise...

I'm only disappointed that the Nuggets didn't try hard enough... AI grabbing 4techs... Melo basically non existent on the court... and players like Najera and Kleiza truly are dead weight... Kleiza is too inconsistent to be starting... its stupid... but I'd still blame it on Melo... this is supposed to be Melo's team... not AI's... what we saw at the end of the 4th quarter was AI doing his thing... not Melo...

Tthe Lakers did play well as a team and they've done so consistently from Game 1 of this series. People stepped up as a team, not just Kobe. Luke made clutch defensive plays as well. Heck, even Benga got in there. Sweeping a team is hard man, it's easier said than done. At least the Celtics disappointed everyone about a sweep as well. This game could've gone to Denver though. LA has to play better defense.

Yes, Melo is definitely pathetic, but is this a first? Not really. We've seen the type of player he's become, his image as well. Again, it's not because they can't score, it's cuz they lack motivation, lack the desire to compete on both ends. Theses 'stars' lack DEFENSIVE stance. What matchup? Get real. Kobe took Smith, KMart, and Melo away. They couldn't guard him at all, because they didn't try and they couldn't. They talked sh8t and they couldn't back it up.. FAIL

Kobe's success is not given, he earned it bro. He earned that right and he's prolonging it now.

I said I had high expectations for the Lakers... that just means how good I think the team is... doesn't matter who's got it... I know they're good and I know they can get the job done...

I said Kobe's clutch play is expected, meaning again, I hold him in high esteem... where in the hell did I show any disrepect to the Lakers or Kobe?

The Celtics aren't disappointing me at all... I knew coming into this Atlanta series it'd be interesting... I"ve said all along that the Hawks(AND the Bobcats, watch out ffor them next season) are a team to be reckoned with... they have some young beasts on that team... and with Bibby they got a whole lot better... but I still see the Celtics closing it out... the only real toss up series in this first round is Detroit/Philly...

and the Nuggets... their defense let'm down? I don't think so... the last 2 games, they've done a lot better on D... but Melo can't be hitting 5of22 and 8of20 and expect to win... this team's defense isn't great I'll admit it, but their defense set'm up with the possibility of winning the last two games... and when ur main man isn't hitting his shots... u can't say the team was a let down...

I'm just saying. I gotta admit again, even if I said it before that the Celtics. I'm not saying the Celtics are disappointing whatsoever, I'm saying they have SHOCKED people cuz they were favored and heavily so too. The Hawks are making noise but we'll see, by the looks of it and by the mentally retarded David Stern and his political biased laws and unfairness, I don't really care what comes out of it. I still wanna see the Celtics come out on top, but if they lose to the Hawks, they are the biggest choking fluke ever. The Pistons can close out the 76ers as they have the lead, but anything can happen.

Defense wins games and championships and no one again could guard the Lakers. There rotation was terrible. Melo not hitting could possibly be himself, the Lakers defense, and more so a combination of both. Melo showed no leadership on both ends whatsoever. I did see the Nuggets adjust on the pick and roll against the cutters and that's the only thing that made game 4 close. I will say Melo let them down because of his retarded comments as well. Not to excessively dig, but if he talks and doesn't back up or even show leadership and he's running his mouth- he is not doing much but hurting his team.

That's just my philosophy. Great players are great defensively, not just on the offense. You saw why they put Bowen in today instead near the end? Why they forced turn-overs, grabbed boards on the Suns? It's cuz defense wins games.

    EDIT:
BTW, AI making a fuss as well is no help. You saw how Reggie Miller even called out and used Melo as a joke, when Melo laughed and smiled as he missed? Melo shouldn't go fishing, he should go A.A. and rehab.

zz NBA east side is actually more interesting then west, they play with more intesity and more urgency, where as 2 series were 4-1, and another was a 4-0, boring? very much so.... anyways, hopefully the 2nd round would get to the excitment level it needs to be.. spurs are the ult. dream ruiner destroyed suns run, prob gonna destroy hornets' run, and maybe lakers/celtics lol if they get that far

rockets still int it tho :] lucky and pistons if they play like they did today, they're going finals.. or at least eastern finals, although orlando/cavs shouldn't be overlooked as well

  14. the cavs better be closing out their series today.... and celtics needs to win the next two.... not good playing to many games....

Celts will win the next game.
Spurs can man handle New Orleans though. I think Spurs will still make it to the finals (even though I don't like them). ANYTHING THE HAWKS CAN DO, the SPURS can do better!
    Spurs VS Boston anyone? :>

Lol you think Horneys are cocky...take a look @ the Lakers.

HAHA Boston is playing in a close game in the 3rd now. Get real about Boston dominating cuz they sure as heck ain't doing it against the 8th seed team. They are a great example of a possible fluke. -dead

The Hornets are cocky because they've earned it. The Lakers are #1 seed, swept the Nuggets. How can you not feel confident and how can other teams not see them as a formidable team? What makes you think a team is cocky? LOL

Wizzies beat the SHITRONs lol I'm glad. -madsign1

110-85? Welllll well welll what happened here eh?

Oh please, Denver is nothing. Lakers are developing some sense of false security...not everything is going to be that easy from now on.

HAHA. Sorry if you couldn't comprehend. You never seen the direct quote. Boston won, but you GIVE no damn credit to the HAWKS for stretching the series? Don't bull shit peeps and everyone by saying you had the Hawks in favor. I didn't either, and 99.9% didn't. HAHAHAH... Admit it, everyone has to except the Hawks themselves. What they've done speaks volume. They've pushed the game and now they have a chance !! Going back to Atlanta, anything can happen judging what's become. But did you see or read?? The bull shit fuk shit biased shit by Stern no banning players from leaving bench is very very questionable.

Denver is nothing? WOW.. Only after the result were you bold enough to opinion-ate. Truth regardless, sweeping a team on any platform, in any conference is a challenge. But like I said, what makes you think any team shows cockiness? I really do not know.

Phil is too good of a coach to let his players develop ARROGANCE, SECURITY. HAHAHA. -kekemad Again, Kobe earned his arrogance if you can call it that. Whatevers though, main thing is to win.

I take it your a Spurs fan. But regardless, empty knowledge is fallacy. Denial of truth/play outs is also a mistake.

good job bunny, even though you try to make yourself extremely intelligent in an NBA argument on PA, you fail to read others opinion, pretty hypocritical from how you got mad after i flamed you... give this guy a break, although he does sound pretty ignorant

nuggets are not nothing, they just fell apart, end of story. nobody expected a 4-0 sweep not even the lakers, as well as TWO 4-1 series, so yeah, the west has been pretty boring of late, but it will get better. this "false security" idea of yours is b.s., it's called confidence, if anything, it'll make them better v.s. jazz/rockets (not ruling out rockets just yet)

but i do have to disagree with you for one thing bunny, celtics are not a possible fluke as you would say it. they had two off games, where hawks played extremely well. hawks deserves their dues, indeed, but the intensity level they bought to the game is far higher then what the celtics anticipated. so, if celtics can focus rather then get relaxed, then they shouldn't have any trouble closing this series out.

on the other hand, series between cavs and wizs are making me sweat -.-

oh and 1 more thing, whenever u used the faces in the argument as well as gonig "HAHAHAHAHAHA", its kinda annoying -.- you give off this "screw you, my opinions are far superior then yours vibe", pretty much pointless to argue with such a childish way to respond

and for the series regarding the west 2nd round... spurs v.s. hornets, is going to be interesting indeed...

hornets the way they've been playing, are far more then just a cocky young group, they're a confident young group which is pretty dangerous. spurs on the other hand is a veteran composed team. so its basically rookie v.s. vets :) im guessing vets will win, since duncan cant be stopped by davidwest or tyson chandler, where as gino is probably too fast for any of the other defenders, and bowen will do magic v.s. cp3's magic

lakers will kill whoever wins utah/rockets series, the real challenge will come from the western finals, i still don't think lakers can beat spurs/hornets in a bo7 series though, although they'll probably be well rested + bynum comes back for that extra inside presence v.s. duncan or david west so we'll see-tongue2
