^speaking of bandwidth ....... i need to talk to my service provider bastards need to stop limiting my bandwidth !!! rawr!!! lol seriously though i hope you have gotten the point how immature you are being....
what. my university has the shittiest speeds lol torrents blocked, 1gig a week bandwidth for non rez students and shitty shitty speeds lol
is your uni a cheap institution!?! we only have torrents blocked at my uni but we set up a DC++ server so students share files all over the place, bascially we use the schools network as a giant hub so if we connect to the wall outlet and the other user is also connected we can reach speeds of 10mb a sec.... which is good when you wanna dl entire season of family guy or futurama....
ye ur uni must be annoying with the limit of 1gb of bandwidth a week. most unis don't have a limit on bandwidth.
if ppl havent protected it then you should use the line. they likely want to share the line. but if they have a password on it then you shouldnt be so cheeky. thats the job of the Dutch.
well, they might not know how to protect it or they just might not care lol. but ye if they don't protect it u can rele use their internet but if protected then its off limits.
my school internet sucks too. block torrent and the max speed i get from rapidshare is 15kbps. take me more than an hour to download 1 esp of drama. i usually bring my laptop to my friend hostel in the uni to download using ftp
lol , im also wondering how do we set one up, coz i wanan hook my DS to the Wi Fi thingy , but everything i read is crap and doesnt work
^ uh.. no, its not crap, because you just dont know how to work it -lol if youre behind a WEP encrypted router, get the wep key and put it into your ds... come on... even my computer illiterate brother can do this shit..
well to some computer illiterate ppl, this process can be a difficult and dauting task. basically to set up a wireless connection u need a router. then u just plug the ethernet cable into ur comp and then u can log into the router and select the setting for ur internet provider. that will get u connected to the internet. then u can choose security and select a WEP protection or WPA ( i recommend WPA) and then type a password. then use ur ds and connect to ur wireless router and select the protection type and type the password in and u should be set to go.
Only thing is the DS only accpets WEP..... which is retarded..... i have been using WPA and to change it over to WEP on a home network that ran on WPA is a little annoying, since you gotta configure all the computers using wireless, which was like 4 in my house hahaha either than that it was pretty straight forward.....
