thats sad, but accidents do happen and wth.... the numbers add up to 62... and at least 18 people dead? the numbers dont work out right....
It's always the Asian bus companies that this happens to. It happened several times over here in the US already.
^ Really? On the news i always hear of south american busses with tourists crashing or school kids on trips inside europe
that bus driver was probably trying to get those people to all the stops on time and make it back to the bus terminal to get some rest...happens a lot in Hong Kong where buses will rip through turns and other obstacles just so they can get back to the terminal and catch some Zzz.... he should at least done it with nobody in the bus..sad
What you're saying makes absolutely no sense. Those buses (as well as trains) are on a set schedule. They may deviate a minute or two, but to drive faster so that they can get back to the teminus more quickly? Nah... Ralph
Only during the day....at nite when they get back to the station determines how much time they'll get to rest before they start back up on their morning routes. The sooner they get back the more they can rest. There have been other cases in Hong kong where bus drivers have run over curbs and overturned busses so they could get back to the depot earlier in this case i bet the bus driver wanted to get all the people to all the sites that they wanted to see and in a time where he can get back
shit happens....i remember sitting in the bus in hk...it was bloody scary...had to hold somthing during the whole trip...felt sick afterwards
oh my god! thats really sad >.< people shouldnt drive so fast especially drivers of large vehicles with lots of passengers >.<
pretty sad news, but i try to avoid the bus at all means in HK, especially riding those double decker doing sharp turn on the highways
so many sad stories in the news lately. as much as the driver is to blame for his stupidity i'm sure he must feel bad
