Once i find something that works fine, i just stick with it even though the newer version is more stylish/cool etc
    Maybe i'm just lazy lol

    Need Help!!

Okay, I just downloaded 'TTMPGEnc DVD Author 2' and DVD Shrink. But haven't got a clue what to do?! Anyone want to guide me through - screen-shot and step by step guide please.

What I want to do is to burn more than 5 episodes [TVB Series - 42-44min] onto a disk. I never burnt 10-12 eps before. I've always burnt 5 episodes onto a dvd using winAVI to burn RMVB files to .vob files then use nero to burn them. But I wanted to fit more episodes onto a dvd [save disks, if 20 eps then only need 2 disk: 10 eps on a disk], but not sure how it works. I want the quality to be watchable, just like as it shows on tv.

Oh yeh, and I recently downloaded a 20 episodes series which the format is DVD-RMVB. Does it make any difference?

    - Thanks!!

just use winavi instead of tmpgenc cos winavi produces the same quality but at much quicker conversion rate and convert 10 episodes with the setting of disk space set to double that of dvd single layer i think. then use dvdshrink to reduce size so it fits onto one disk.

winavi's quality is not good..why? they convert too fast which skip so much detail.

Well for me i use Tmpgenc i can convert RMVB to MPEG,

Then use Download TMPGEnc DVD << (Use the old version czu it have crack) which u can make .VOB file

    Then use NERO to burn.

well if u select encode by speed then the quality isn't gd but if u encode by quality then it codes a lot slower and the quality is much better. even then the conversion is pretty quick.

Thanks. Works now, the settings I used on winAVI was lowest quality and encoded by speed. Converted 10 episodes onto one disk and then I used dvdshrrink to compress them and fit onto one disk. Quality is good, not much difference from as you watch it on tv. Do you think more than 10 is okay....? ..hmm.. don't want to try - just incase the quality is crapp.

nope i think 10 is pretty much the limit if u want to maintain quality. what settings should i use on dvdshrink? cos i converted a 10 episodes but i need to compress it but it can't seem to compress to 4.7gb, its a little bit over and thus it won't fit onto a disc.

my personal opinion is by using ConvertXtoDVD .its quite simple to use .i recommend you to use ConvertXtoDVD.v2.2.3.258 instead of version v3.0.0.9c because the old version is more stable and easy to use .as you are a newb, v3 is kinda too advance and too much to configure .by the way convertxdvd also comes with a build in burner .so you doesnt need to open Nero so hassle . download direct DDL from http://www.phazeddl.com/ its search engine has crack included .

theres no need, just burn onto a few dvd discs, its cheaper that way cos blu-ray is very expensive at the mo, discs are hard to find and a blu-ray burner is also pricey.

use convertxtodvd software, this is the only software out of all that can burn multiple files into one dvd. you can burn approx. 7 tvb files to a dvd without losing too much quality.

8 episodes is max if u want to maintain decent quality... but i normally burn 10 epi per disc for my parents coz they still watching CRT TV... so it looks ok.

WinAVI then TPMG Express to create menu then DVD shrink to 4.3GB.
