Lu Bu makes the game way too easy in other words My mate bought the game on PS3, and he's hooked. He's always been a fan of Dynasty so i'm not surprised... Saw it at JB Hi Fi Sydney, currently on special for $79 if anyone in Sydney is interested.
it came out in february, but i haven't played it....i have played the other dynasty warriors and they are all pretty much the same...
its been out for a while in the US and japan...not too sure about europe bbes but essentially its a hack and slash game based on the romance of three kingdoms fighters
they changed it a little they re made all the characters physical apperance, different chain combos and they added up a grid board which you gain exp from levels in order to get stronger you move across the board and choose tha abilty you want to up grade on and also you have 3 sub missions each mission so wiether you finish these mission you get additonal exp and a cutscene but if you dont you loose your chance at exp and a cutsecne even unlocking hidden characters
ye its very much a button bashing game for the previous ones, i didn't rele see a vast improvement from the 4 and fifth one tbh.
you really have to be a fan of dynasty warriors to buy the extra ones... im currently playin the 5th still ...because im not sure if its a wise move to buy a PS3 just to play this game thats why im askin...how do you guys like it...or if anyone here has it..
yea.. well it's def. not worth it just to get ps3 for the game.. lol thats good info right there.. I think I essentially play the DW games for the cutscenes.. but I mean.. its harder to finish the game than it is with GTA.. theres just too many characters to unlock.. lol and with every new DW.. they just keep adding more and more characters..
That's a good thing though, right? Without new characters I wouldn't have anyone new to unlock and use.
i like the old one better. this one has less stories but they are more indepth. i like the way they did it tho. it's must hard then the older ones.
the dynasty warrior i ever like is 3 the old one i think is better than the new one anyway, but for 6 i dont no never try aha saw in walmart for like $59...
lol haven't you ever heard the phrase 'too much of a good thing' that's the thing.. they add too many characters.. and there's barely any cut scene movies. Thus theres not much of a story.. imagine if they only focused on a handful of characters and went in depth with their story.. but then I guess thas a whole diff. game then.. all i'm saying is. they need to come up with something new..
yea and its till very much button bashing to kill the enemies lol. so u rele do want a more in depth story.
the game is alright but not the best 1. they cut some characters (6 i believe) with no new ones 2. the combo moves are different (e.g no more 3 normal attacks then a charge attack to do a clear attack, doesn't happen) which can either be a good thing or a bad thing which depends. Instead relies on a renbu guage with increases combos of normal and charge moves 3. most of the non story characters stances and moves are the same as other characters e.g ma chao attacks the same and does the same musou as sun ce (he now uses a spear), zhang he (spear again) and etc 4. most characters are changed e.g lu bu does not use a halberd anymore, now it's a ummmm.....boomerang...two sword thing, just look at the trailer or intro 5. the graphics and animation are much better e.g you can actually see people building a ram to knock open a gate 6. you can swim, climb ladders and jump off cliffs 7. the base system is different 8. it is a harder game than the previous versions 9. no bodyguards 10. in battle target objectives e.g open ... gate in 5 mins 11. the AI are much more smarter (button bashing a guarding officer will only get you countered and pulverized most of the time) 12. new horse system of which you can level up horses 13. characters now level up still I find it a fun game even after playing all other older versions
is just unfair to play with lu bu is just or you lack skills or you just wan't to kill an opponent fast is not much of a challenge
