How long are you willing to wait for some one you love or like? Let's say you like a girl/woman or guy/man that just got out of a relation and has indicated/told you that she needs time.

Regardless of what ever situation, how long will you wait until you give up?

From personal experience, I really didn't wait to a specific amount of time before giving up. It was more of a gradual thing. You don't just wake up the next day and totally forget about your ex. You slowly learn to move on.

give it time until she shows signs that she moved on. i made that mistake of not waiting and rushing in to things. but then again i'm a type of guy that goes for things that i want

  4. ^ not thinking things through first can be disasterous at time lol

wait till she feels comfortable with herself again..... when she returns to her normal behaviors it should be fine.... there is never a set waiting period because it differs with the situation.... so hold on unless you know you really don't have a future with her =\

^agreed. it just depends on the situation. I remember waiting for this one girl for 5 years...but during that time, she'd always go in and out of relationships. Eventually, i didn't bother anymore cause she found someone and she's been with him ever since.

you will realise it yourself when you need to move on and when you do, please do not refuse it.

ye there is no set time, just wait till u think she has moved on and if within waiting u find someone else, i say go for it and don't wait for the other person as u don't know whether that would have been a waste of ur time anyway.

Just hang and chill with her. Might take 3 months, 6 months, maybe a year if it was a really serious relationship. It depends from person to person, how emotional attached she was to her ex. But, you have to know that even when she will have moved on, there's no guarantee you will still like/love her (which is what chilling with her will help you get to know her more) or she will have those feelings towards you.... She might meet someone else, while you're just still waiting for her to have her heart available.

Yeah, there is really no set time that one can wait for another. I have a few friends who had a major crush on this girl and even 10 years later he is still waiting for her, so the time limit is really how one is in love and how long that love stay in the persons heart.

In order to wait for someone you will have to know that you still have the same feeling as them which you will not care how long it will take when waiting for them. If your partner or so whats time alone. It is maybe because they just want to see how it would be as being single for a lil while. But they will soon feel loely and soon it will be over and they will come back.

perhaps or they might stay single. on the other hand they may find someone else and go off with them.

i seen and know many people who have been hurt and in pain because of this " waiting thing "

  14. it is really painfull of liking/loving someone and waiting till that one if ready for a relationship.
so once i made cleare i like the other one, an i take action on it, if i dont get an answer soon i will just try to forget it that person, or if that one just hops from 1 to another guy -lol

  15. waiting on someone is always painful, so i would suggest to just not think about it, go out have fun, do whatever you normally would and just see how things turn out..... think about it, what if it doesn't turn out the way you wished, you would have wasted all this time...

  16. i see akki also got alot of experience :shifty:

  17. yes i have had my fair share of waiting so i dont want to do that anymore!!!

  18. hahaha poor you :p ah well.. when your young you dont have anything to do anywayz.. so doesnt matter to wait then :p but if your older.... fuck the waiting xD

well simple answer, yes it is considering sometimes u may wait for several years and by then u might have changed and all sorts of things could have happened.
