Thursday May 8, 2008 Hong Kong Isabella Leong (梁洛施) and Richard Li (李澤楷) are engaged, The Sun reported today. The newspaper interviewed Rob Cohen, who directed the upcoming film The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor, which Isabella appears in. The director talked candidly about the Chinese stars of the summer blockbuster, including Jet Li (李連杰) and Michelle Yeoh (楊紫瓊). The director revealed that, last week, he had dinner with Isabella and Richard – where Isabella introduced Richard as her fiancé. Rob added that Isabella has promised that she will attend the film's US premiere. Meanwhile, The Sun rumoured that Isabella has returned to Hong Kong to face up to the legal battle with her record company, Emperor Entertainment Group. Isabella, 19, has filed a countersuit, claiming that she has been trapped in an unconscionable contract, in response to a writ lodged earlier by EEG, which claimed a breach of contract by the actress-singer. Isabella has reportedly been trying to quit the company after starting to date Richard, the boss of PCCW, the largest telecommunications company in Hong Kong. It has been widely rumoured in Hong Kong press that Isabella has been in a relationship with Richard, who is 21 years her senior, since late last year, but both have refused to comment. Newspapers have rumoured that that Michelle was the matchmaker who introduced Isabella to Richard, when the tycoon visited the set of The Mummy. credits: batgwa.
damn what the fuck she's like 19 or 20 and getting married to a 40 year old...pretty nasty shit even if it's legal...goldigger fo sho... damn if her career is wasted like this its sad. she was really good in isabella and also an okay singer.....also very young. Thats one ugly dude also haha.
and it's pretty sad because she was like one of the better younger actresses in hong kong that actually acts and not just show off their "beauty" and be like the "damsel in distress" type character. i don't think i'll see her in the same light even though i know i should ignore the character's real life persona and interpret their characteristics through their performances in movies. This is just wrong i think, i mean i just don't see celebrities getting engaged at 19 nowadays yo, especially to 40 year old guys haha..
wow being able to marry the son of the richest chinese lee ka sing sure is better than winning lottery big golddigger here, well if ur gonna marry someone someday why not marry a very rich one and damn and she is just 19
