Here's a good website to get info on the: Lancer: http://forums.evolutionm.net/ Impreza: http://forums.nasioc.com/ I would say you might be able to get your answer there
i still say go with civic >.< impreza=the worst gas mileage car 2.5L only 170 horsepower... and average about 20-25 mpg.. lancer gts=not so good in gas mileage since the GTS model is powered by a 2.4L only making 168 horsepower.. which is very low for that big L engine.. for GT models its 2.0L making 152 horsepower.. mainly both only average about 20-25 mpg. civic=best mileage from those 3 cars.. average about 30-40 mpg with a 1.8L 140 horsepower.
I drive a civic si, i've only driven stick like 3 times before I got my civic si, it took me about a week or so to get the feel for driving it, so if you don't mind learning the civic si i'd say is a great choice, its a good car to start learning stick with. Altho if you'd rather not, i'd still prefer a civic ex over a lancer, an impreza imo doesnt look too bad, but it cost too much if u want a decent one like a wrx.
what kind of car is that? anyways... i think ive decided on the altima!! haha the sound is good enough and it has enough power =D not so sure about fuel efficiency but it seems good enough... thanks everyone!! and sorry for wasting your time ><
how much money are your parents giving you to get the first car? if you can show your parents a used but decent looking g35, 350z, 328/325i or c230 that might let u get that over the new car... i think fearless said it earlie did u look at the mini coopers? pretty cheap and deam fun to drive or look at the nissan sentra or altima coupes (the cheaper g35 equivalent)
Get the Impreza. 2.5 litere with AWD, you cant beat that. Legacy would be nice also. Don't get a Civic though, those torque-less wonder wagons have less power than my moms blender.
well they're not GIVING me money in the sense, they're gonan get it for me. And they said absolutely no to used cars.... so thats out of the question =( the altima sedan and coupe are about the same arent they? except the coupe is actually heavier ... or so i remember.
lol altima is a gas waster also.. well better fuel economy than the lancer and impreza which altima should average about 25-30mpg.
no used cars = 90% of the good cars (i like) gone =( have u looked at the mx5 =]? that car aint half bad or even the Suzuki Swift sports??
if you bring your father in then they might help you out. If i'm the dealer i wont serve u too since i have so many customer. If you buy a car they need to see your credit. (i assume u under 20) so what you expect --., As for my camry, it is V6.. it is my first new car, It is midsize car, and it is big. One thing i dont like it.. everywhere u drive u see a damn camry (good thing mine is V6 their is 4 cylinder but still camry)..
darn...getting some cars used come out better in value than you new car but i guess they want the best for ya.. on the altima they are the same platform just 2 vs 4 door. I liked the alitma coupe when i took it for a spin with my friend on a test drive Cooper S...is where its at...if your parents give ya 27K CAD should be enough to get a nice cooper S
lol dude... if u can get a Cooper S... DO IT... of all the cars i've seen suggested so far... this has got to be the winnar!!...
It's a Midship Runabout (aka MR2 Spyder) You can't buy them in Canada though. Comparable to Mazda MX-5, Honda S2000, Lotus Elise (sorta). The Altima's a nice car. Dual exhaust, with rear underbody diffuser and widebody look. A bit expensive, but since you're not footing the bill, w/e. Might as well try to push for a G35 while you are at it. Who cares are it being a coupe? It's not like you have to squeeze in the back everytime you get in.
^comparable to the S2K? don't get ahead of urself m8... afterall, the S2K can be considered midship as well
