lol i don't think i would reach 60gb a month haha...but i would never know also cause i don't get capped haha....but damn lay off the porn kids...
what do u mean without being limited? speed doesn't slow down? i use exetel and the seem to be pretty good. decent amount dl's, price is pretty cheap compared ot others aswell.
oh didn't think about porn, but ye those files are large and im sure that u could quickly use that much bandwidth.
TPG is quite bad, lol, their exchange rates are really bad and I have a friend who could only get like 100-200 kbps MAX from an ADSL2+ plan.
If you're talking about High-Speed Internet... Bell - Unlimited Roger - 60 GB However speed wise, Roger > Bell and the site you're talking about, not too sure, never tried it... But signing a 1 year contract sound a little bit fishy.
I am currently with Bell Symatico, but I don't have any limit on the usage. I am doing around 20-25 gbs a month I am using emule so about half is upload.
You know, some ISP's say they have "unlimited" but it's not really unlimited, because they cap you after like 10GB. That's what's happened here, some unlimited plans are so dodgy. :S
Go to redflagdeals and see what other frugal shoppers has to say about it LOL I did a whole lot of research about the internet thing, I still don't believe small firms just because they buy the bandwidth and everything off Bell or Rogers. And yesh, I remember people talking about caps (in speed, not bandwidth) and zip customer service/trouble shooting when the thing goes down. Good luck at it. I am still stuck with Rogers despite all the complains (that and the fact that I need a phone line)... Was it Techsavvy or Acanac that requires 1 year payment upfront and purchase of the modem? I was just wary about the whole "what if they shut down after a month" thing, and the modem's fragging useless if you decided to change company after a while, so a lot of sunk cost to consider.
^ oh my god you go to redflagdeals? thats crazy shit man..... anyways, i dont think rogers is that bad as people make it seem..... i have a premium package for 45 a month, and my dl bandwidth caps at 60gb... up until now, ive only used 25 of the 60gb..
Hey, whatever save me another penny -devil Plus, I hate getting ripped off, so why not take advantage of it And I keep on thinking I can make it to the finals of "Last Cheapo Standing" JKS. Rogers isn't that bad, I am paying around 55-60 bucks for phone AND internet, 60gb, but so far I never used more than 30gb (but I don't BT at all, nor do I d/l that many shows, just some British shows and a few missed episodes of House and others here and there)
no i think virgin gives the best speed broadband, my friend has it and he has 22mb unlimited and its very reliable in terms of speed and they don't cap u at all even though they say they do if u overuse at peak hours, they don't.
The all the same. What you need to consider is; How Much You use? How fast you want it? Is it worth it? Preferably i use Optus original Yes packs -Cable Power plan which is 60gigs for $69.95 with Homephone . Telstra doesn't even come close with 60gigs for $129.95 fastest speeds in Aus cable on 30mbps Agree ---- wording is "UP TO ..... speeds"!!!!!! but yet the most usage per month in Australia for 100gigs on $129.99 per month but adsl 1 speed 256/256 There's no cap, but there's a "fair use" limit. If you exceed that, your speed goes down. Also don't forget the $2.50 fee for direct debit. Read the fine prints......
yea n me isp has bin pretty reliable since changin from tiscali...but rubbish router that cuts off my net when a phone call comes in... = ="
telus is pretty good too.. even though they say 60GB per month is your limit, they dun actaully check and warn you if you went over the limit. But if you are a student go with shaw as you can get a student plan.
