Yo guys. I don't think I've ever posted in the love and relationships section, so this is kind of weird, but I want advice I've asked a few people already but meh ... the more the better, right? So there's this guy at school .. that I have a small crush on. So I met him last semester when we were in AP physics together .. and everyone in the class said he had a thing for me ... but I never noticed. My friend told me recently that last semester, he always talked to her about me. When we first met, he messaged her on Facebook, and said something like "Oh your friend Michelle is always smiling in class" and then after a while he was always like "oh today in class Michelle did this and blahblahblah" ... So NOW, after we're not in the same class anymore because I dropped physics :( and we don't talk that much anymore, I started liking him a little .. just because whenever we see each other he always says hi, and he's always putting his arm around me. It probably doesn't mean anything .. but yeah ... can't help it if I have a crush on him. So he's going to graduate soon, and I probably won't see him anymore. So I was asking people if I should ask him for his phone number so maybe I could call/text him sometimes. I got the idea because today some guy asked me for my number out of nowhere, and it seemed like a good idea. BUT, I thought it was weird how the guy just suddenly asked me, so I'm kind of scared to ask this guy. Gosh, I know this is kind of stupid .. because it's not like I'm asking him out, just for his number. But the thing is, I've never made the first move (if this is even considered a move) so I don't know how it's supposed to go. So I'm asking: Should I ask this guy for his number? How should I do it? Would it be weird??? (This is embarassing LOL but it's ok .. I probably won't ever see any of you ever except maybe Katie )

you dropped physics? aiyah, you better study harder and do better in school young lady. aiyah aiyah less embarassing thing to do is to ask for his MSN contact or w.e instant messager he uses. thats significantly more casual and easier to do. from that point you can set up a date if you want, but in the digital age, id go for email first. there is a downside to this though, when you add someone you like to an instant messager, its damned hard to talk to them. conversations usually go like this "hey" "hey" "sup" "not much" "so you added me, i see" "yep!" "cool" "soooooooooo....." "yeah.... soooooooo.... sup?"
lol it won't be wierd...its pretty normal for people to ask for other peoples number if he says hi to you when he sees you...just say hi back...then try and stop him for small talk and then be like "oh by the way whats your number?" and pull out ur phone always works haha
well.. maybe the younger ones doesnt look weird.. but asking for someone MSN sounds geeky if you want to know someone and if you like him.. i think you atleast gotta give him the impression that you dont just only want to be friends.
its normal, i ask people for their phone numbers on a regular base, of course more females then males.
everyone gives out a phone number if someone asks... its only nice...and polite to do so... esp if u know the person here is the problem !!!!!! k? take note! they just wont answer your call when you do! lol... they just say im busy etc...sorry ttyl?
u only thought the guy who asked for ur number was weird because he was kinda random right? did u know him? so if u ask ur crush for his number i dont think he'll think ure weird!! cos u 2 used to be in the same class and he does talk to u anyway, i think go for it- if uve got his number u can txt him or call him out whenever u feel like it- u can do this even as friends! if it doesnt work out as a love type relationship (as he's graduating, but i hope it does if that's what u want!) u can always remain as friends! ))))) nothing to lose
