The HK movie scene is drying up, been so for years. Most of the stars are going mainland, as is the entire movie market. If anything, they'll make more dual dialect, and use more mainland stars. The HK arena as a producer of films just isn't what it used to be. Sad, as I too, like pure HK style canto films... Ralph
^ There are vanguards like Ho-Cheung Pang (he directed Exodus last year), but those are more arthouse than mainstream... Even WKW left the HK scene for the most part (then again, most from HK doesn't give his film a second thought, so can't say I blame him) Not liking Stephen Chow's CJ7, so not really anticipating his future projects.
HK summer is coming up, should be a few movies coming out. But a few nice Hollywood films are gonna be out also "Dark Knight" "Hulk"
HK comedies are the best, the randomness of it is so funny. BTW, Stephy's new movie should be awesome!
lol i reckon theres heaps of HK movies, but some dont get promoted as much, lol Mr Evo, ur Avater is ......... Killing Stephy's Arm lol
