Its a couple of things you have to notice. If She call you 1st and always want a long call If she discuss family matters with you If she dress well , always when you meet her. I don't know others. Because I'm not an expert in this line
when she finds any given moment to sit next to you and talk to you touching? thats a given i think asking you out? laughs at anything you say that you find funny WHEN IT REALLY ISNT xD
umm, maybe she looks at you sometimes? giving you glances or so. smiles and says hi to you? (it may be as a friendly way) as girls, i'm pretty sure, she would tell her friends who she likes, so maybe they'll know? she would probably talk to you a lot. :]
well surely being friendly is a gd thing. at least if they are friendly towards u, its much better than them ignoring u.
lol I don't know of any basic signs, really and a lot of the "signs" that some of the fellas gave on this thread were really stereotypical, lol it depends on the girl. I agree with a point that someone mentioned earlier, if she tells you that she misses you (a lot) that is a good sign that she might like you. Personally, I say I miss you to my friends too lol but then I think if it was toward a guy that I liked, I would say it more to him than to a friend.

i think the gerneral idea is that girls are complicated...at least their signs aren't as obvious to the guys as they think the signs are. so if you want to know if the girl lieks you or not...here's an idea: ASK
