One of these days we'll have a town called "Aoyuan" because household has a "Aoyuan" in it... Bet it would be quite a sight. The way Chinese people show support is interesting, to say the least. Never cease to be amusing.
LOL... During the Cultural Revolution, it was considered patriotic to name your child with a moniker that reflected how great communism or chairman Mao was. There are still people walking around with those names now, as 40 somethings (political laughing stocks of a bygone era). The equivalent would be something along the lines of a name like "thank you Hitler" if you were born during those times in Nazi Germany. Definitely politically incorrect. Ralph
