mgs4 is ps3 exclusive right, defo not coming on 360?????? loads of rumour bin saying that the maker of mgs4 never sed its ps3 exclusive due to profit they might make it on xbox 360 in order to gain more money on the other hand, if you look at the technical side, mgs4 is made up with a single blue ray disc and according to my source they had to cut a few bit to fit in it, 50gb not enough, imagine xbox 360 , if it do end up on 360 it be something like 5 disc lol what you think lads? msg4 stay with ps3 or go with microsoft? for me i got 360 and me uncle got ps3, played on both but i prefer 360 cos its more fun and most friends have it, but certainly dont mind a ps3 if its cheap. but i shall say msg should stick to ps3, it be more of a competition, 360 got their own titles anyway Gears of War and Halo, but i h8 halo lol
Kojima has said it time n time again that 'in order to play MGS4, you MUST have a PS3' even if they some how port it to 360.. it won't be for a very long time. As it stands its only exclusive to PS3.. and the game going to 360 is all rumors. And there are aspects of the game that are related to PS3.. for example dual shock controller used to control MKII.. they need to change up a lot of whats in the game already in order to make it for 360 and not just as simple as porting the codes... with that said.. Epic game time with MGS4 soooonn!! Once the post man arrives..
i've heard about this many times and i laugh really. but common ps3 have one big exclusive compared to the xbox's 10 or so lol... but anyways tons of plugs for the products that i don't think microsoft will approve. i.e. ipod, cell processors, knock against multiple discs. and also i don't think some sections of the game would work as great or work at all: Spoiler psycho mantis (really big shock and without the nostalgic factor, which needs to mention the ps1, this part really is useless.)coming back and trying to read memory cards/ move dual shock/ flashback to ps1. secret codec if you try the infamous "controller switch" during the screaming mantis battle. the ipod would have to be removed i think. microsoft won't do ads for apple lol. the shadow moses sequence wouldn't have as big effect as the nostalgic values won't be so great as like feeling you've advanced from a ps1 to ps3. also it would be funny to hear that the mk II is being powered by xbox 360's chips as opposed to the cell, which is believable. also yea it would take a big compress for the sound as most of the sound in mgs4 is uncompressed that's why it sounds so good. and also the space issue and to implement it onto a different code for the ps3 as this was developed with only the ps3 and blue ray format in mind i think. also as many heard, kojima complained about the size of a 50gb blue ray. i dunno...anymore? lol. oh yea and wouldn't the playstation have exclusive rights to the flashbacks since only metal gear solid 2 was released on xbox, might have to take the flashbacks out too.
i really like this game. I don't even mind the cutscences, even though it was really long i found it pretty interesting this should definitely get game of the year
otacon Spoiler In the first metal gear solid game, the foxdie was put into snake to kill certain people, only people with the genetic dna of big boss. In shadow mosses, all the people there were "brothers" and "sisters" of solid snake.
the mutated FOXDIE was neutralized by another FOXDIE Spoiler Drebin injected Snake with a new FOXDIE that is meant to kill the people in Big Boss' faction such as Eva, Ocelot, and Big Boss. Drebin works for the PATRIOTS.
Finish the game, and all i can say, is that it's probably the best game out right now for ps3. The graphics and story are ridiculous.
