Personally I kinda like the series. The storyline isn't that original but it's cute. A light summer series.
I don't really like this series because it focuses too much on Ma Kwok Ming and his father's relationship, Kate Tsui and her mother's relationship, and Lai Lok Yee's side story. When I watch this series, I wanted to watch Kate Tsui and Ma Kwok Ming's love story. At the end of episode 10, they still haven't gotten together. I think they are trying to drag it on for too long, and it's starting to get boring. It's sad but I think it will only get better once Kate Tsui loses her hearing completely. I hope it will get better soon since I had high hopes for this series.
at first i wastched the theme and the first thing i thought was...BORING..then watching the series it became cute, funny and interesting, u dont see many series talking about voice overs but the rest is predictable but ive only seen 10 episodes so they still have a chance to surprise me, i think this series is sad but i like the fact that they have Kenneth and the 'gu je'(aunt) making it funny, o and lai lok yi, he is sooo funny in this.
It's a pretty light series...good for a change. You just need to sit back and watch it without any thought.
its alirhgt, even tho i dont like Kenneth ma, kate tsui did a good job with her acting but there were times where it was weird, like she heard some things and she didnt hear others o wells , its a nice lovey dovey drama
I think it's pretty good, it's nice and light humored. Although I wish they do add more scenes to develop kate and kenneth's love story ><
its not bad of a series. Even though Kate Tsui is not all that pretty to me, but shes an excellent actress. And i kinda like the story of this series
LOL... :laugh: As far as a TVB series, its the usual mixing of characters that have some conflict but ends in romantic ties (Notice that none of these TVB romances ever start with mutual attraction or horniness; there's always confrontation first. Like... why is that?) There isn't anything that's really original anymore, but that doesn't matter. People like these kinds of formulaic scripted shows to pass the time because it gives them something to gossip about in their own less than interesting lives... :sp_ike_d: Another pleasant time waster Ralph
when i was watching i reckon Kate did a good job and when she got angry when kenneth tried to stand up for her her expression was so 逼真！
I have to admit that it's interesting to see TVB address other topics than standard love stories with very predictable plots..it still seems a bit strange to me that all the main actors have imcomplete familes (orphans, one parent family), most TVB series I have seen lately share the same family issues.
haha they all have the same kind of family issues. It's always about a parent that ditched the kid at an early age and then comes back, hoping to redeem themselves for their past wrongdoings. -_- But I like this drama. Kate looks prettier than usual, and her voice is....nice to listen to? LOL she's definitely got a better voice than fala and yoyo mung...they both piss me off with their high pitched voices and terrible cantonese accents.
i love it!! so heartwarming!!!!! kenneth ma is so good looking! but i like kate tsui more!! she's so cute, especially with her hair long!!!! her voice is really cute too! at least in this series and this character, cuz i've never seen her in other shows so i'm not exactly a fair judge.
i didn't like it at first, but then u kinda get into the story. watch it to pass time and it'll grow on u.
it was boring to me. i didnt like the lead actress and the lead actor. and not to mention its so slow moving.
The storyline is ok, I mean in the most cases we usually see the whole cancer killing the main character but now we see a little bit of hope for people born with diseases such as deafness, blindness, etc... If your not a patient person, don't watch it! U'll like it's boring as hell! but if you have a lil time to absorb the plot it's actually not that bad...
nice this series. the ending abit too plain. should spice up alittle bit more. anyway still a good series from tvb. thanks
