I already had my eye no this phone for a few weeks now, but I'm afraid I'd be scared of someone trying to steal my phone lol. The G900 isn't too bad though.

i was actually looking at this phone when it got announced by SE. too bad i just got my w960i. this phone looks to be around 600-800 dollars
gsmarena.com says Q4 2008 release. These phones are insane....8.1 MP! Still, SE's phones always seem to be missing OPTICAL ZOOM. Its got image stabilizer, face detection except for OPTICAL zoom! whats wrong with sony ?
it's not what's wrong with sony... its what's wrong with the general public... these are first of all and before anythings else... CELL PHONES... they're PHONES... no matter how many MP a camera phone has, it still isn't going to be better than an actual $300 sony cybershot camera... the logic of an 8.1MP camera... ON A PHONE is rediculous... the lens is small as hell...
Well theres a bad thing with everyphone... but then yes its the first phone to reach such a high number Pix.. there will be a better version out later just like the K850 with 5mp... then they bring out an C902 that looks nicer and sleek and with face detection... and blah blah.... sinse wen have mobile's gt optical zoom? or have i been living under a rock well imo its a sick phone but after 5mp i dnt see no more benefits unless your sizing the piture up? i gt a n95 and wen i print the pictures out it compares the same in terms of pixilisation compared to my sony 8mp digicamp

wow! sony ericsson keeps impressing me with the high m.p. camera on their phones! i had a w800 before my iphone and i liked it. The only thing i didn't like about my w800 was that i was a tri band and didn't work well in the US. Does this thing have tri band or quad band?

this phone is quad band. it really depends on where ur at in the US. my w960i is a tri band and it works great here in cali. when i travel i there r sum dead places like in bend oregan, and texas so far i've seen. other places i always get full receptioin.
