Wow, that is a doozy of a moral and ethical issue for the hospice workers, since they could be held responsible for being supportive of the guy's actions. Even though as human beings, we can probably understand why he chose to do this but as people who are supposed to be in charge of his mental and physical health, it must have been a real heartbreaker to decide either way. Although I'm not condemning the prostitute herself, I never realized that prostitutes advertised in disabled magazines... that seems a bit sadder for everyone involved.
