A tomato is a fruit, it is classified scientifically as a berry. Also scientifically speaking, Corn is a grain, cause it is classified as a type of grass. Anyways the reason that Tomato has been lumped into a veggi catagory is because back in the OLD OLD days of the beginning of the united states Veggies were taxed but fruit was not, and because Tomato didn't hadn't been offically labeled as a fruit or veggie, the American gov labeled it a veggie so it was one more thing they can get income from.
It is a fruit.... anything with seeds in them are considered a fruit. I know it is quite werid. But for me I think consider it as a veggie
the egg, chickens can only come from chicken eggs, but chicken eggs dont necessarily have to come from chickens. so the first chicken egg was layed by a chicken that wasnt quite %100 percent chicken yet, since evolution occurs through generations.
