The new BMW's X6 looks so hot. The shape is different and pretty impressive. Anyone willing to share me their opinions or specs about the car? If you test-drived it or own it, wanna share some thoughts on this hot car?

  2. hmm.. not my style of car =( i really don't like it.

i guess to each their own.

It's a BMW... it'll out drive nething in it's class... whether it fits your specific needs besides the driving experience is completely up to you...

Turbocharged 4.4L V8 or the twin turbo 3L inline 6. that's so mean power. I'd drive one.

  6. the body shape is what makes me not like it as much, but the power it outputs.... what a beast.... then again i would rather just get a 535xi or an M3

    M3 lacks massive torque lol.

A friend has the 335i. It felt faster at traffic speed then the M3 I test drove. Add a chip and we're talking 350 hp, 370lbft of torque.
Then again, once you reach 4-5000rpm, it's a different story, the M3 is just pure sex to the ears!!

The new M3 does not lack torque... otherwise it wouldn't pull on the 335i later on... the 335i just has the luxury of sitting on twin turbos giving it a very nice symmetrical torque band at virtually resting rpm...

at 295 lbft of torque for a 4L V8, I find it very pitiful. But like I said, once you rev it to 4-5000rpm, it is simply insane. Blasting it through tunnels and highway ramps. It is truly a M-car.

^are u serious? a 4L V8 is barely a V8 in modern terms... otherwise they woulda kept the I6... it's pretty much the most powerful NA V8 on the market... u can't compare it to a turbo anything...

power-wise yes. But torque-wise, not really. I never complained about the power. I was hoping to have some more torque, that's all.

don't get me started with the iConfuse

torque included... there's not many if any 4L NA V8s pushing nearly 300ft/lbs... power is combo of torque and HP, HP is top end, Torque gets u to the top end... don't differentiate power and torque...

there aren't many v8 that do what BMW did to it. If BMW wanted to get more torque on the V8 they had to increase the displacement on it and do what Mercedes is doing to their cars like boosting their displacmenet to 5.5L V8 that are pushing close to 400lbs of torque.
